Why did you pick this product vs others?:I’m honestly the first one bit out of a group, mosquitos LOVE me. My dynotrap did no justice to the Asian tiger mosquitos that hunted in the daylight but good gracious what a difference over the last two weeks. We had a real infestation of them I would get bit all over my head 30 minutes after applying spray. This stuff started working immediately. I can now enjoy my backyard to relax and do landscapping without loading up on mosquito spray that I hate because of the smell and chemicals. A bit expensive but I don’t care I’ll replace every few weeks if I need to because I’m always outside, thanks to my toddlers. People are complaining of smell but it wasn’t bad at all, I rather have this stuff smell like garbage and work because it’s placed on the back of my yard and I never smell it. I have a pond near me and other homes close by so I was worried it wouldn’t help but when I went to my neighbors house 3 doors down I got bit immediately.

Without this all the dynotrap catches is flying bugs and moths. Evidently I learned Mosquitos aren't attracted to light. They are attracted to human scent and the pheromones or something. Anyway, this little pooch has that! We dropped one in our dynotrap basket and noticed less and less mosquitos. Keep in mind, this isn't an overnight mosquito catcher. You leave the dynotrap out 24/7 starting in the Spring and it could take several weeks to catch them and stop their egg cycle. You don't move it around either. It will work.

terrible odor, do not open in house

When you open this packet, be ready for a powerful nasty scent, but it truly does work. If that's what we smell like to bugs, it makes me want to shower even more often!It's very simple. You just pop into the bottom portion of your Dynatrap and that's it. You'll be shocked at how quickly it gets covered up in bugs. The only con is that you might want to wear gloves when cleaning it off as you will need to scrap the bugs off this as they do glom on it. My first round, I used my bare hands, and that smell took quite a few washings to get off.I can't tell exactly every bug it's pulling in because there's such a large amount of bugs on it, but it definitely pulls in moths and mosquitoes really well. I've had it 2 weeks so far, and our canopy tent has been bug free since using it. I've placed this about 15 feet away and having to clean it out every 3-4 days. Worth every cent.

I opened this and phew did it stink! I dropped it into the holding tank of my DynaTrap and watched it over the next couple of days. Day one, it attracted a bunch of mosquitos. Day two, still going great. This went on for several days, but after about a week, there was a dramatic drop in the quantity of mosquitoes captured. and the scent tapered off considerably. After 2 weeks, you could barely smell the thing and the mosquito trap had barely any mosquitoes at all. The thing was non-existent after about a month. While the Octanol didn't pull in as many mosquitoes as this did, it did so for far longer! For what I paid for this, the 2 week effectiveness wasn't really worth it when you consider that you need to kill 3 generations of mosquitoes in a season in order to make a dent in getting attacked. Considering how long this one pack lasted, you'd have to go through 6 of these at the very least to accomplish this. That's very expensive.

I live in Alabama near a storm drain and have had a serious mosquito problem. Every time I stepped outside, I was getting eaten alive. I know DynaTrap has mixed reviews, but I was desperate and decided to try the DT1050-AZSR with the Atrakta lure packet.I set it up yesterday and let it run continuously (as recommended). After just 24 hours, I checked it and was shocked — it had already caught a large number of mosquitoes. There are a few moths and other bugs, but it’s mostly mosquitoes. I’d estimate at least 40, possibly more.So far, I’m impressed. I’ll update after a week, but if you’re struggling with mosquitoes like I was, this is definitely worth trying.

Worked for only 14 days. Very disappointed in this product. Supposed to last 60 days and not even close. No mosquitoes for two weeks then when about 10 feet away, three landed on my legs after being outside for two minutes.

I would highly recommend this product it does the job and is a must have for Dino trap to work to its max for a bug free yard.
