Worthless! What a joke!
Don’t waste your time or money. These are totally worthless. They have absolutely no tension to work as suspension springs. They are super tiny and stretch apart too easily. The pictures are deceiving. There is absolutely no way that these have been beneficial to anyone. I put three of them on the same corner just to see if it would have any tension at all…..nope, it did not make a difference. You could put 100 and it wouldn’t do the job correctly. DO NOT BUY THESE!

Easy to install but not a total solution by themselves, just backup
Our Maytag MVWC300BW0 does not use these springs (the MVWC400BW does), but its plastic tub has the mounting points for them anyway, so when I had the machine apart to replace its 10-year-old suspension rods, whose springs were getting tired and allowing the tub to hit the sides of the cabinet, I decided to add these at the same time, to provide a little extra dampening near the top for what is otherwise kind of a teeter-totter suspension that's only connected at the bottom.These are NOT a total solution for off-balance banging during the spin cycle. If yours is allowing the tub to bang against the cabinet, your suspension rod springs are exhausted and WILL need replacement. (They don't break, but do lose their compression resistance.) These will help a little to stabilize the top end when spinning.Results have been excellent, though mainly due to the new suspension rods. These springs are not really high-tension, but a little extra stability at the upper end can't hurt.

Not really what I needed
As I was putting them in 1 at a time they were getting stretched, so there was that. But after I got done same problem, washer walking and out of balance, and noisy. I did get the rods and some heavier springs and was better but when it started fast, it was making noise. I figured it was time for a new washing machine.

Problem solved!!
My Whirlpool was banging like a drum. These suspension rods got here quickly, were a good price, and with some YouTube tutoring were easy to install. You might want to call a repair pro if you’re not strong enough to slide your washer out and lay it on its back. But if you can handle that, the repair is straightforward with minimal tools and technical knowledge.

Saved us a ton of money!
We were ready to buy a new washer because it shook and banged so much during spin cycle. I found a YouTube video on how to fix it. I bought these easy to install suspension rods and springs. I had it fixed in under an hour for under $40.00. Quick delivery for an easy fix. Buy these, NOT a new machine. I added the springs for security. The rods alone were only Saved usaround $30. We are very happy.
