I purchased this next CD w/ my gift card, since I did not have this one & knew I had to get it!After listening to some of the other songs from the album that I had not heard such as, "That Was Lulu" which is quite a catchy song!"Wait For The Sunrise" one of my absolute FAVES off the album! Such a badass song to listen to!Of course, the one that I definetly remember, when I first heard it back in 2009,was the song that Richard had no intention of releasing in the first place from what I understand, called "Right Here Waiting",because it was considered a very personal song for him & he did it for Cynthia Rhodes, famous for playing Penny Johnson in the movie "Dirty Dancing"(for those of you who don't know who she is) who became his wife!The song I guess you could say in a sense resonates with me, because of the fact that my father & I didn't get to see much of each other after a certain point in time,although in a way, it seems like some parts of the song may be a bit much when it comes to a father/daughter relationship,but other than that...it could still resonate with me nonetheless!Truly a great album...5/5 stars hands down :)~RM Fan Forever~

What can I saw about Richard Marx? One of the most incredible singer/songwriter ever! His voice is so smooth and full of emotion, his music can make me smile, laugh, dance, and cry. Not too many artists can do that with their recordings, and not to mention the oh so many of his songs that have been recorded by tons of other people. WOW!

Love Richard Marx. His vocals, lyrics, music and such an emotional singer.

This 1989 album was a worthy follow up to Marx's impressive debut album & it contains plenty of great guitar driven rock songs as well as several nice ballads. It also spawned 5 hit singles. "Satisfied" which was the first hit single, reached #1 on the charts & is a great high energy rocker. "Right Here Waiting" was also a #1 hit & was one of Marx's finest ballads. The last hit to chart in the top 5 was the underrated "Angelia". A beautiful & moving ballad that deserved more airplay than it got. The other 2 singles were the medium rocker: "Too Late to Say Goodbye" & the slow ballad "Children of the Night". They weren't quite as strong as the first 3 singles but were still pretty decent songs. I personally think that the harder rocking tracks "That was Lulu" & "If You Don't Want My Love" would've made much better singles than the 2 aforementioned songs. They are both more melodic & radio friendly & are right up there with the 3 big hits quality wise. Especially "If You Don't Want My Love" which was co-written by the "The Tube's" lead singer - Fee Waybill. It is a high energy rocker with terrific guitar work by Marx's longtime guitarist - Bruce Gaitsch & if you've ever had your heart broken, you'll definitely be able to relate to the lyrics. Fee also co-wrote "Too Late to Say Goodbye" & sings b/g vocals as well. There are also several other guest artists on this album that were the cream of L.A. session players at the time. Guys like: Randy Jackson (yes that one), Steve Lukather (Toto), Bill Champlin (Chicago) & the Amazing Jazz saxophonist - Dave Koz. Many other lesser known but still outstanding musicians play a part on this album too & they along with a fantastic bunch of songs, make this one of the best offerings in Marx's impressive catalog.

I Will Be Right Here Waiting For You , By Richard Max is one of the most beautiful songs ever written. I purchased 2 Cd' s .I gave one away to a very special girl in my life and I listen to the other almost everyday. I am very happy with my purchase. Amazon has done a great job as always of getting my merchandise to me as quickly as possible and properly packed.

The CD arrived on time in good condition. If you like Richard Marx music, you will like this CD.

Vinile in ottime condizioni, sia esteticamente (confezione ecc...) che per le prestazioni (ottimo suono, vinile intatto) veramente come nuovo.Ordine arrivato con un settimana di anticipo! Molto soddisfatta!Riguardo a Richard Marx, che dire, uno dei più grandi musicisti e autori di sempre; questo album è uno dei miei preferiti, è il suo secondo album ma il primo della sua produzione musicale che avevo ascoltato da ragazzina. Mi trasporta con la mente a momenti felici! Non avevo mai comprato la versione in vinile ed ora finalmente fa parte della mia collezione! :-)
