This is a really fun and great series my daughter loves them . We got the hard cover becuase paperback wasn't available however these will last a lifetime if taken care of.

This series of books helps kids learn math and understand by making it relevant in their everyday lives.It does this in a fun story format, that touches on everyday things kids encounter that involve some level of math. It really makes math less intimidating for children, making learning stress free.Highly recommend this novel approach after watching my son struggle with public school based learning math.

Algebra, to say nothing of some other helpful information along the way. Teaching two grandson, aged 7 and 4 years, at home after having graduated my youngest child and passed along most of the books I'd used to teach my children. A friend loaned me Apples with the offer to borrow the rest of the set as we moved along. Fred is not a complicated read, but we were enjoying ourselves so much as we learned that we needed to purchase our own set of books. In addition to laying to groundwork for Algebra to come we have , among other gems, learned days of the week, how to read an analog clock ( learning to count by 5s), the point of eating properly, and the last words of Archimedes (the 4-year-old, who is on the small side, uses this to prove he truly is four). We laugh, we joke, we wonder, and we remember. We also have a lovely time learning about Kittens University and Fred's adventures as a mathematics professor. Fred is probably not for everybody, but we are enchanted and engaged. And why did I not know this was out there when I was educating my children?

The books are beautiful & well packaged. Perfect condition. I contacted the seller because I paid for 14 books but only received 10, and Ray did everything in his power to correct the mistake immediately and shipped the books that were missing.
