A few tips first:1. The age suggestions of 10plus is very accurate as it’s super fiddly and requires a lot of attention to the instructions2. Of your child has a reasonably short attention span then I recommend ‘prepping’ the activity first as you have to pop all the pieces out and organise into bags which works really well but was a bit boring for my daughter.The kit itself is fab, it’s has everything you need, all pieces are labelled clearly and you sort into labelled bags With diagrams so they are easy to find as you build.The instructions are very comprehensive but do make sure you read them properly and check.Everything fits together really well and although it is very fiddly and will require a bit of force at times it’s quite simple to do.We loved the choice of designs you can create once the head and body are done.Once you’ve picked a design and made it all you need to do is put it in sunlight and off it goes. It worked straight away for us and as long as it’s in sunlight it will carry on going.The motor is pretty impressive for such a small robot and it picks up some speed!The solar panel is on the head of the robot and is very easy to connect.The Robot took us about 5/6 hours to do from start to finish for just one design.This toy is great as an educational tool as I was able to explain what we were doing and why, and my daughter could see the results, when we put a cog in the wrong place it was also a great example of why things don’t work and problem solving to fix it.

It has well made parts, but can be a bit fiddly, it’s possible some ten year olds would struggle, but it good as a joint project with an adult. I can see a 15 year old being happy to build the different options. On the whole, pretty good value Since you get to build different machines. Needs proper sunshine.

The motor isn’t powerful enough to move the gears. I started making the 1st robot but the motor doesn’t move the gears as it’s too weak. I’ve tried solar power and connecting a battery. I bought 3 of these as gifts. Waste of money. Very disappointed.

The solar panel doesn’t work at all

My son love building things so though this would be ideal. The instructions are really easy followa sbthe pieces fit together easily. Many different robots can be built with this set and dont take long to transform.

Grandson loves it

The kit is very well put together with all the parts organised in clearly labelled bags so putting it together didn't take a absurd amount of time to search for the parts. There are 12 different combinations of the robot you can build so this will occupy a kid for a long time so this would be a great value and it provides education that is fun and engaging. So I would definitely recommend this!

Nel kit arriva anche un manuale delle istruzioni e una guida moto dettagliata per realizzare i diversi robot.Molto pratico e riesci a trasmettere alcuni concetti base di meccanica, energia e la soluzione perfetta per stimolare la creatività di bambini/ragazzini.L'ho comprato per il mio nipote e ne è rimasto molto contento ed è molto preso e divertito dalla possibilità di poter realizzare una molteplicità di robot differenti.Perfetto anche per i genitori che vogliono passare tempo con i figli costruendo qualcosa e passando bei momenti di condivisione.Kit valido e consigliatissimo

Ein tolle Spielzeug zum Forschen, Erkunden und Lernen.Bei dem Zusammenbau gab es bei mir jedoch eine kleine Schwierigkeit, die Löcher für die Befestigung der Motoreinheiten waren nicht passgenau, also die Schrauben Stück für Stück langsam einsetzen und langsam einzeln anziehen. Der Zusammenbau an sich war nicht schwer, ich hatte allerdings ein Video von einer großen Plattform zur Hilfe.Bei dem Zusammenbau bitte beachten, dass die Schrauben für die Räder nicht zu fest angezogen werden, sonst kommt die Nabe der Räder zu nahe an das Motorgehäuse und das Rad dreht nicht einwandfrei.Was ich mir gewünscht hätte, sind Unterlegscheiben für die Muttern und einige Kabelbinder.Sonst ein schönes Lernspielzeug für ältere Kinder und Erwachsene, viel zu Forschen in der Programmierung.

Depuis que j'ai commencé à bosser, j'ai toujours eu l'habitude de décorer mon bureau avec des trucs de geek et des jouets scientifiques. Quand je suis tombé sur ce robot, j'ai tout de suite été séduit par sa petite bouille sympathique.Le robot en kit comprend :- 5 planches avec toutes les pièces en plastique- 4 joints toriques- une planche d'autocollant de décoration- un sachet avec les engrenages, le panneau solaire et une feuille en plastique pour le modèle bateau- un lot de sachet plastique et des autocollants pour le rangement- un manuel de montage en anglaisLa première chose que je dois dire sur ce jouet, c'est la super idée du fabricant d'avoir mis un lot de sachet avec des étiquettes distinctives pour ranger les différentes pièces du jouet. C'est la première fois que je vois ça et j'en suis très content. C'est pour moi l'assurance de perdre moins de pièces et de les retrouver plus rapidement.Le montage est plutôt facile une fois que l'on a compris le mode de fonctionnement.Toutes les planches portent une lettre et toutes les pièces ont un numéro. Il suffit de s'y reporter pour retrouver la pièce. D'ailleurs les étiquettes sur les pochettes de rangement, on les retrouve aussi.Il y a certaines pièces qui ont été un peu dures à assembler, j'avoue que j'ai eu un peu peur de les casser en forçant.Le manuel est en anglais, mais comme c'est principalement des pictogrammes, ce n'est pas vraiment gênant. La présentation des étapes se fait avec des vues éclatées.Le moteur solaire est tout petit, mais une fois connecté au panneau solaire, le robot est assez rapide. Il galope d'un rien.J'ai vraiment pris plaisir à le monter et je n'ai pas vu les deux que j'y ai passés pour découvrir toutes les pièces. Je suis vraiment content de mon achat et ça fait marrer mes collègues de bureau quand ils voient le robot se carapater quand le soleil tape dedans.Le produit correspond à la description du produit et ne présente pas de défaut.N'hésite pas à me dire si mon commentaire est utile.
