Easy to add wireless capability to any computer with this device
For some reason the transmitter on one of our family laptops failed and would no longer allow WiFi connection to our home network. I ordered this device to save taking apart the laptop or paying for an expensive repair. This device was easy to install on a Windows 10 machine, being plug and play. No drivers were required to be installed and I had my wife's laptop up and running on the home network in less than 5 minutes. It is a great price and a great little device. I am going to order a second one to attach to a desktop computer to get it connected to our WiFi network. Very happy with the device. The review wanted me to rate the sheerness (?) and thickness (?). Not sure what that means but this USB device is rather small so it does not create much of a catch hazard on a laptop computer while in your lap. It does stick out about 3/4" (20 mm) so my wife removes it from the laptop before putting it in her carrying case since her laptop case is rather tight. The USB port on that particular laptop is on the side. That is the only disadvantage to the product I can think of.

Really good!
So..my dell laptop i had since 2016 kicked the bucket finally and really didn't have the money to go big again for right now so i ended up getting the Maestro Evolve III laptop which was $78 bucks just to tide me over until i get my Imac. Now this little thing does what i need it to do, and it really is great for the value. Only problem was, it only recognized my 2.4gz wifi and not my 5G wifi.So i did some research, pricing, and customer reviews and came to the conclusion to get this little bugger to help my $78 laptop pick up a nice, fast speed.Came quick, plugged it in straight out of the box, windows asked me to run "CDinstallation file", and next thing ya know , i hit "Wifi 2" and boom..i can connect to my 5G. Over 200mbps easily, compared to the 15mbps i was getting! This little guy is a great tool to help speed up your out of date laptop, or a budget one that needs some spice! I highly recommend.

Great for connecting to a Repeater-Router and sharing internet with the neighbors.
The Cudy AC600 works very well in Windows Tiny XP (my favorite user friendly O.S.) and that is why I gave it 5 Stars.Update:I have now ordered 5 of these WiFi adapters, for 5 of my computers which include a netbook that would only work with 2.4 ghz. So it works with 5 ghz now too. ( free internet from Lake Region Fiber.)I found this Cudy AC600 to be effective, simple and easy to install. All the other wifi adapters I tried, were a hassle and I threw them in the trash. -- especially the ones with a CD installation.(The Realtek RTLl8811AU Wireless LAN 802.11ac Nework Adapter (driver) works well and installs automatically.)

One annoying problem, otherwise great!
This little dongle works great ..... sort of. It allows me to connect to my 5G network, where my older laptop's built-in is only 2.4G and capped at 72mbps downloads. Now I can run at 5G at around 112mbps downloads. Only glitch is, every time I boot the laptop, or even wake it from sleep mode, I have to uninstall it and re-install it for it to work right. If I don't, it connects at only 1.2mbps AND makes my laptop think it's in China somewhere judging by the way Ookla (internet speed test app) wants to run using servers in China instead of my normal local server in Tampa, FL AND it resets my laptop's clock to a China time zone and time! If I uninstall it and re-install, all is normal with high speeds and the right time. Very odd and I can find nothing online addressing this type of issue. It's an annoying ritual I have to go through, but for the moment, it's worth the higher connection speeds! Anyone got a suggestion or solution??

Fast and reliable connection!
I used this on an old Windows 7 Acer laptop I was using for network storage so I could free up a Lan input on my router and it actually connected at much higher KPS than my newer Samsung Ativ tablets. It installed by itself without a hitch, easy and fast installation and works great! Now I want one for all my slower connecting tablets! Interested in testing out the range now. Great product at a most affordable price. I highly recommend the Cudy WU600 AC USB wifi adapter.

Works on 2.4 & 5Ghz
I got one of these for Mom's laptop for a couple of reasons: her onboard Wifi connection kept dropping. Putting her laptop on 5 Ghz to the same access point would mean less conflict with her cameras on 2.4 Ghz and the other WiFi in the area. This card worked fine for months until the laptop fell and broke this Cudy unit off, leaving part of it in the USB port. After ordering a replacement Cudy unit and carefully removing the plastic piece that was left in the USB port, the laptop has been running for more weeks with a new Cudy adapter. (The wireless profiles in Windows 10 were still available, and the replacement card connected without any more work.)

easy to use and setup, but does have its drawbacks
i bought this for an old boxx tower i inherited from my dad to connect wirelessly to the internet. that said its a easy set up, just plug it in and then boom you can connect to wifi however it does have a few drawbacks. this thing has dropped connection a handful of times, it bunges up and at times disconnects from wifi all together. not saying its a bad device but you'll need bear in mind this thing should mainly be used as a backup device and not considered as your main fix all.

Not 600mbs, but still worth it
I needed an inexpensive wifi adapter for my old desktop computer to avoid hardwiring and running wires throughout the house. This product was under $15 and had good ratings, so I gave it a shot. It works flawlessly and was very simple to install (took about a minute). This is basically a plug and play, connect to USB port on your computer and wait for the driver to install, then connect to your WiFi. The option of having dual band is great, however I would not recommend the 5g network. I have very fast internet and this adapter doesn't receive my desired speed. Overall not bad, since I only plan on using it for checking email and web browsing. If this product could achieve the stated speeds it would be perfect. WiFi on my phone is about 200mbs, while with this adapter my PC is getting no more than 50mbs. Disappointing, but again not a big deal considering the price and my light usage.
