Not as advertised
These logs were really good quality and burned well. However I was disappointed that there were nowhere near as many logs as there appeared in the picture. I had exactly 8. This makes them quite expensive and must contravene legal trading laws. I weighed the net too and found they came to 9kg tho they were advertised as 15kg. Again they are not as good value as made out. It’s a shame because they were delivered promptly and straight to my door. But at this price I can’t see myself buying from them again.

Mixed review
Ordered two packs of these logs. One was as dry as it can be and burned perfectly. However, the other patch had some inferior quality logs (not hardwood) and was not dry at all. I’ve included pictures for some of the bad logs I received. Overall, quality doesn’t match the value. I hope the seller take a better quality control in the future.

Initial order was significantly under size
It's nice, dry timber that burns well. However, the initial order was under size (containing 9 small logs, which did not burn significantly longer than other logs purchased in the past). We complained and were sent a sack containing 20 logs via standard delivery. The timber is photographed next to a one litre carton of milk to compare volume. I would hesitate to re-order from this seller if in a hurry and in need of wood for a special occasion. However the wood itself did burn better than bog-standard logs you can buy in a petrol station, due to the fact that it is kiln-dried.

Burn really well
These are great! After buying so called kiln dried logs from b&q that weren’t the cheapest and didn’t burn I decided to take the plunge and buy these. They’re brilliant! Arrived earlier than expected with the logs in 2 separate netted bags put together in a sealed waterproof bag. Had them stored in my shed for over a week because the weather hasn’t been the best to have an outside fire, but tried them for the first time last night. Success! They burned brilliant! So dry they took straight away and were slow burning. I will definitely be ordering more. Value? I think they’re worth it when you take into consideration the amount of money I wasted on previous logs that under no circumstances would even scorch never mind burn.

THE PICTURE SHOWN IS NOT FOR 15KG OF LOGS. (30 IN PICTURE) APPROX 11 LOGS FOR 15KG WHEN DELIVERED
I thought that I would receive the approx amount of logs as in the picture advertised 30, but regret I only received 11. I did not expect them to be exactly 30 but also did not expect 11. I contacted the seller and was told they would refund my money if I returned the logs at my own cost which I assume would be between £5 & £10. Which defeats the object of having a refund. I have been in touch with trading standards and been advised to write a letter again and explain that it is not my responsibility to pay for the goods to be returned. I cannot comment on the quality of the logs as I intend returning them. I will not be buying goods from this seller again.

Good quality and good size logs
Haven't purchased logs unseen before, so you have to take a chance that the size is as depicted. These seem to be of a good quality and are of such a size that they don't burn through too quickly (which is what always happens if logs are too small). I do always have a problem with estimating how many logs are going to be in a bag as a description that gives weight or anything cubic really won't mean anything to most people (perhaps it's just me?). I would prefer if companies would estimate how many logs there will be in any size of bag - even if there was a disclaimer regarding the number depending of the size of log.I've knocked off one star simply because they are quite expensive, but because of the quality of log I would have give the item 4.5 if I could.

Fire Resistant Wood - for decoration only
One hour, several firelighters, newspapers and bundles of kindling later this wood would just not light. Even after putting a blow torch on it for 2 minutes the wood was only slightly blackened and cold enough to pick up with my fingers after 30 secs. I didn't know that naturally occurring fire resistant wood existed but this is it. Waste of time and money for the oven it was purchased for though.

very good. Very pleased
Yes, very good. Very pleased. Nicely packaged. Excellent delivery service, came next day. All you need is some screwed up newspaper enough kindling to go underneath the logs and set your fireburner to draw a gentle flow of air through and hey presto. They are cut to a convenient size. Once alight they burn well. Amazingly they didn't spit embers over the heath either. Full marks for that. Initially, the wife didn't put enough paper or kindling in to give it a good start but I told her you need a boy scout to start a fire. Fortunately she had one. Me. Now I'm on log burning duty it all works really well. I will purchase more.
