Works Perfectly and Great Price
The transfer cable that came with my Nikon L310 compact DSLR camera, which I love, disappeared into the nether regions of my home. It may turn up someday but until then I couldn't transfer, view and print photos from my computer. Nikon couldn't help because this camera and its accessories have been out if production for some time, but they did give the cable-type designation. This cable solved the problem and I even bought a second one because I know my proclivity for losing such things (along with a set of cable tags).

Works with an old Coolpix l620 to transfer photos.

Connect to a/v out on camera.
Does what it's supposed to do. This is a data transfer cable not charging cable. If you have a coolpix L840 like me then you connect it to the yellow bordered a/v out on the camera. Not the HDMI opening because it won't fit and you'll think you have to squeeze it in and pos damage it. Plug it into the a/v out on the camera and the other end to usb port on laptop then select transfer files.
