Good finger wraps
These were better than the finger splint wraps I got from my doctor. They work really good, but I was a little confused at first how to wrap it so make sure you read the directions.

The Best Finger Spling Option I Have Found
I sprained my hand between my ring and my little finger. The ortho doctor said it could take a year to heal and gave me the stretchy wrap/tape to splint my fingers together. I found it uncomfortable with skin irritation and eventually stopped using it. Even using band-aid was more comfortable, but that was no better long-term. I ended up going without for most of the winter and then discovered this product. I like it because:I can use one over and over.I can slip it on and off easily. It doesn't irritate my skin.I can comfortably wear it for several hours. My fingers don't sweat beneath it.I'll likely never have to use all the splints you get in the package. The material holds up well. The velcro works for me over and over.It is the only solution I've ben able to tolerate long-term.Some of the reviewers complain that the velcro strip has corners that are sharp and catch on things. I clipped those corners with a fingernail clipper and solved that problem. This was a good buy for me. I hope it is forcyiu too.

Good and sturdy but…
I had to knock off a star due to the titanium Velcro. This stuff is VERY stiff making the edges sharp. Additionally, once it adheres, it is extremely hard to remove without tugging. Since you're likely using it on an injured finger, this is problematic. Were it not for the Velcro issue, I would love these strips as they are a bit wider than most and very soft and comfortable.

Velcro Doesn’t Last, Get Dirty & Smelly
I purchased this item because I had a previous index finger injury, a torn ligament, that had flared and caused me pain when bending my finger or moving it laterally from side to side. The doctor suggested I use a buddy tape system and this seemed to be perfect. Overall, it worked very well to secure my injured finger to a neighboring finger to ensure there would be as little movement as possible. I like the fact that you can cut these to the size you need based on the length of finger and space between each knuckle. There are a few reasons I have lowered my rating of these wraps. The first reason is due to how easy they get dirty. After one day of use, the wraps were visibly discolored and started to lose shape. Next, similar to having a cast or even tape around a body part, these wraps retain odor and sweat. So, after having gotten dirty and starting to smell, I thought it best to wash them with warm water and soap. This brings me to the final reason I have lowered my rating. It seems as soon as water touches these wraps they lose all ability to velcro. At this point, they become useless. Needless to say, I am happy that I bought a 10 pack of these wraps so I had enough for a few weeks of recovery. (I cut 5 in half and wore a set of 2 for about 3 days.) Unfortunately, because I was unable to find a way to clean these and still be able to use the velcro, I cannot recommend this item to others. At least not as a reusable item. It is much more comfortable than using traditional medical tape, but lacks the features necessary to be sustainable.

Don’t get this product
Bought item to hold fingers together after ligament injury. The Velcro closures that connect to the wrap have a plastic part that is very sharp and snags your clothes.

Won't Stay On
Won't stay on.I have an injured little finger. I bought these to secure it to my ring finger and immobilize it thus. Even though I put these on tightly, and even tie them to each other, they creep off my fingers. Only $10 but a waste of $10.
