crazy good for the price
Easy to useeasy to level the build plate .I wish the SD card slot was located on the front .the fan can be loud if it needs full cooling .coming from FDM , using this with water washable low odor resin has been very nice.i print at 0.1mm for my purposes are technical and R/C stuff, but it has profiles for several resins in the 0.025mm layer height .It's nice having a small build surface for making small parts . it takes less resin to have functioning vat .the build area is about the size of an old smart phone screen .screens are available from the mfr web site , and they are also the same screen as an other brand .personally i prefer to use chitubox over the oem slicing app. it includes a sd card that has software and instructions and videos .I would probably buy the Orange 30 model over this one if I needed an other.

Excellent Entry Level SLA Printer!
Now that I've had this printer for a few weeks and had a chance to learn the software, printer setup, and preparation/handling technique for resin printing, I feel compelled to add my review.First, this is a GREAT printer for the money! It's not as well known as some other brands, but Longer is apparently committed to earning market share by selling high quality products. The body and case are heavy gauge steel as is the gantry. Everything is held together with hex-head screws and I don't see how anyone could be building anything better! On start up, the touch screen is easy to see and intuitive. It allows moving the print head up and down, and carry out the zero procedure which is a LOT less hassle than it sounds like! A tiny storage card is supplied with a USB adapter that goes from computer to printer. Once files are created in .LGS format that can be sent to the USB drive and onto the tiny card which is then inserted into the printer...it's all pretty simple and easy. The printer came with software loaded on the card that includes Chitubu and Longer's slicing software and no, you don't "need" the Longer software. I say that because I could not get the Longer slicer to open until I updated the driver hidden in the Windows system folder and had I known then that one could use either or, I probably would not have bothered with the Longer software. They both do the same function, though Chitubu seems more fully featured since you can manually add supports and edit how they are formed. Longer just applies supports and that's it. I discovered things made in TinkerCAD and exported to .STL format open seamlessly in either slicer program. So the REAL thing with resin printers is learning the stuff you need to do besides hit the go switch. The vat must be clean, the platform clean, etc. You pour in the resin, select the file from the touch screen and the machine starts up and goes to work. AFTER printing things can get messy if you don't have a plan on how to remove the part, pour the unused resin into a secondary storage container, then swish the completed part in IPA - though I've since discovered people are successfully using Simple Green and Mr. Clean to remove excess resin and they don't seem to dull the nice shiny finish the way IPA does if the part is left in the bath for too long. The Longer brand resin also seem to be almost water soluble for clean-up...I discovered after wiping down the printing plate I could swish it around in hot soapy water and it came out clean! Same with the vat - just dunked it up and down in the soapy water and swirled it around, then rinsed and it was clean! "Soap" being dish detergent that is.After rinsing in the IPA bath, the parts should be rinsed under water, then placed outside to cure in the sun. Handling the part without the final "sun cure" will cause dulling of the surface since it's still tacky. There is a learning curve...like I learned I don't want Chitubu to automatically generate supports because it will put them in all kinds of places that makes it difficult to remove them. So I've been practicing adding them manually...Also, orientation matters...But as for the printer, I'd say it's a very good value...print quality, as with most resin printers is glass smooth - so how's that for visible layers! It's not as simple as an FDM printer, and there's the prep and cleanup, but for making small, finely detailed parts it seems like the way to go!

Great Starter Printer !
Warmth, thickness and value are weird ways to describe this but it is an excellant starter machine for anyone who wants to get into 3D printing!! I love mine that's for sure :) Easy to set up, easy to clean and comes with the programs you need! You'll need some extra accessories besides what's in this kit tho. (Gloves, resin, extra films, isopropyl alcohol). For a lower priced printer is works great !!
