My family uses these all the time for camping and backpacking trips. Taste good and easy to fix. Cost is a little high but quality.

I like these for easy meals. I know thats not what they're for but this is my favorite easy lunch or dinner, just add a lil extra cheese and boom. You can find them at bass pro shop too but usually the good flavors are gone.

Used these on my bear hunt and was pleasantly surprised at the amount and taste.

This was a great meal. The flavors simple and straight forward. I really liked that they didn't try to reinvent the wheel with some sort of fancy twist. My only issue (and, this is a small one) was that the recipe called for a little too much water (1 2/3 cup). The meal was rather soupy. I would try 1 1/3 and let it sit for longer than recommended. You may even want to start lower and add more as needed.I bought one package as a trial run. I'll definitely by more.

You've been hiking all day, hoisting yourself up over boulders and sweating your butt off. You are exhausted, battered and queasy - this is the meal you want. The flavor is delicious, the noodles are al dente but not hard, it has plenty of vegetables and it's pure comfort. Add a little extra boiling water and increase soaking time by 2-3 minutes, stirring extremely well halfway through. Add one of those packets of tuna and you have a wonderful, reasonably healthy and palatable backpacking meal. I'm a very picky, food-centric, farmers market shopping lady who doesn't enjoy most backpacking meals and I love this so much I'd eat it on a tired night at home.

Have been experimenting with assorted backpacking foods for an upcoming trip. This was one of the better ones, reminiscent of an elevated mac and cheese. I appreciate that it is vegetarian. Most anything tastes good after a long day on the trail, but this actually tasted good at home.

Went on a backpacking trip not too long ago and this was my favorite flavor. Nice pasta and creamy sauce - I had it for breakfast and was delighted and enjoyed every bite.

Again research helps a lot when buying everything, including freeze dried foods! I never heard of MH til I saw a video on youtube about the guys doing a review on all of their foods. I went to their website, read everything about them, the reviews were outstanding & MH backed their products 100% so I gave it a shot, bought a few different ones, tried them & WOW I couldn't believe it, they tasted exactly like I would've made it myself & now I'm hooked on them! If your camping, rving, backpacking, emergencies or just don't feel like cooking, try these....just follow directions & let it sit for longer than what it says & wrap the pouch in a blanket or towel to keep it hotter. I let mine sit for 30 min so it wouldn't be crunchy, longer the better & yes it's still very hot when you open them!! I ❤️ these, happy w/my purchases, definitely will be buying again!! Highly recommend these to everyone, you won't be disappointed 👍
