Beautiful Katana. Love the dragon handle (hilt) design. Easy to grip. Sharp passed the filled 2 litter bottle test on first try. My friend thinks the rain guard is weak but I think its fine I like the look of it.

First, kudos on the delivery speed - I received the sword today, a month earlier than the listed delivery date. In fact, Amazon tracking still shows it in transit. It was well packed in a tape wrapped styrofoam box and sustained no damage though the package itself was a bit battered. The katana itself was in a protective cotton cloth bag.The sword itself appears very solidly made on first handling. Everything is tight, no rattle or wobble. It's a bit blade heavy and not sharp - not butter knife dull but not sharp. It will definitely get some work in that area. Disappointingly, it has a wire brush hamon - not exactly a surprise as the photos clearly show that to be the case but I wish they didn't do so as I can make out what looks like a faint natural hamon in a few places, indicating that the blade was indeed clay tempered. Still, as fake hamons go, it's not horrible. The hilt and saya furniture are non ferrous and very indifferently cast - in other words, kind of blurry - but the saya itself is well fitted and well finished with a smooth glossy lacquer. The tsuka is the Duncan variant and is again somewhat indifferently cast with an obvious seam and some flashing left by the head but seems solidly attached. Years ago, I had the Marto version of the Duncan sword and this seems much more solid to my memory. The only superior piece from the Marto was the dark bronze tsuba - much nicer than the gaudy gold furniture here but the Marto was three times the price for a stainless wall hanger.If this blade stands up to some light cutting - bottles, milk jugs, pool noodles, etc. - I'll be more than satisfied. If it does not, I'll amend this review. If I could make a suggestion to the seller/manufacturer, it would be to tone down the furniture to something less gaudy and to drop the wire brush hamon entirely. I think many people would prefer a undistinguished if faint hamon. Overall, if you are a Highlander fan and want a functional(?) replica, I think this is your best bet.

Loved everything about this sword. Its well balanced and it comes sharp but could still use a little honing. Still, very happy with my purchase

My oldest son started to collect swords a couple of years ago and this one did not disappoint! Keep in mind you get what you pay for when purchasing things of this nature, nonetheless, this looks absolutely stunning displayed in his collection.

It’s a nice sword. Blade was sharpened, but not razor sharp. Overall the quality was OK but not high quality. The blue color was painted on a bit sloppy, where the blue overlapped areas that it should not have been on. The dragon head at the end of the handle came off on the 3rd day. Sure it could have been glued back on, but it’s clearly a sign of lower quality. It’s really meant for show rather than practice.

The dragon near the handle is actual three-dimensional structure! It looks like a real one, so lively and cool. Also there are two small knife stick on the scabbard. Pretty exquisite and sharpen! Worth to buy again.

I have 4 katana’s already but this one by far is the best. The weight is perfect. Solid construction and design. It come’s with extra small knife on the side. If you swing it you hear a whooop sound. Very sharp, very beautiful katana. Delivery was fast. Another 5 star to the seller which is very attentive to your concerns. I was charged by UPS for import duties and taxes and the seller refunded that tax very quick. Highly recommended.

Craftsmanship and request following done to the tea , amazing attention to detail , would’ve payed double if I seen this product in real life , thank you again for providing me with a great symbol of life that My family will display for generations to come
