Ripoff-Do Not Buy if in USA!
What a joke...why even sell to people in the USA?! I had no clue there was such a thing as a DVD region. No, I didn’t read the description because my whole life DVD’s were DVD’s. Very misleading, terrible!

DVDs didn't work
We had to return the set because none of the DVD's worked. I put them in our blue-ray DVD player and then in my non-blue ray DVD player just in case, but no luck in either one. We were looking forward to watching the series but then disappointed we couldn't when we received the package. We returned the set and ended up just getting an HBO subscription with our Xfinity plan for $15 a month and had access to more shows and movies.

It did not work.
I purchased this item in January but did not try to use it until the product was outside of the return date range. ( I was viewing other videos. ) Anyway, when I went to play the first disc, the screen had this message "playback prohibited by area limitations." I tried again several times and on other dvd players, but with the same result. I am trying to let Amazon know about this but have not found any way to contact them. So I am leaving this review.Not happy!PS I could only submit this, if I gave a star rating. The item does not work...why should that receive even 1 star???

THE DVD IS NOT SET UP TO PLAY IN THE USA, CAME FROM ENGLAND AND DID NOT NOTIFY BUYER THAT THE DVD WAS NOT SET UP TO PLAY IN THE USA.

Best gift ever
My dad came to visit from Germany and he speaks limited English, but we introduced him to CYE anyways and he thinks it's the funniest show under the moon. We got him this box set for Christmas and if I ever had doubts that I am his favorite child (which I never had) then this made sure I am #1 on the will for sure.

USA DVD player won't play - don't open kuz you can't return
Seriously why are DVD sets sold on Amazon that cannot be played in America?!! 2nd dvd set purchase that's been this way. Ugh! Returned!!!!!

Larry David is a total legend
Larry is the master of how to 'put your foot in it' or cause a scene in any given situation as he just refuses to let sleeping dogs lie. Watch out for the brilliant prolonged stare he gives if he suspects someone's not telling the truth and the classic, 'Stop and Chat' and 'Chat and Cut'. Totally original with a great supporting cast and a multitude of guest stars including Ricky Gervais, Michael J Fox and all. You really couldn't ask for more.

What a show
I remember watching this ages ago thinking it was great - but after watching the first few seasons again I was like hmmm it’s not that funny. But then you get to like season 5 onwards and it’s absolutely brilliant - Larry David for the win!

I like Larry David but I found that I ran out of steam by series four. I’m glad I didn’t buy the separate final season
