I was looking for boards to stretch watercolour paper too.In the reviews it said someone used them for that so I thought I was safe to buy.As the paper dried it just curled off the board and even warped the board.They said to try sanding it but that didn’t work either.To be fair they said I could send them back but half the money would have gone on postage so it wasn’t worth the hassle.

First time using mdf, but I’m so pleased. Very smooth and once I’d coated with gesso , so easy to paint on, using less paint than on canvas I found. I use acrylics mostly, but a family member uses them for oils and has equal success.I tried priming one of the boards with art glue ( cheaper than gesso) and got a different effect, darker shade and gave a woodier look. Fun to play around with. Solid boards, quite substantial. I’ve ordered more in different sizes. Very pleased with my purchase. Also not as fragile as a canvas, I can store them in my studio without risk of tears etc,

Only three stars,this is due to the fact that the item did not arrive on any of the dates given when I placed the order,If late delivery is the norm I would find another mode of delivery,as reguards the quality 100% good item.Delivery dates are important.

Always used canvas and I find this much better to paint on.

Fast delivery, v good quality board.

Bought to use as art boards for watercolour painting. Excellent product but the delivery was slow using Royal Mail - use someone else?
