Coffee free Caffeine
Sometimes in life, you just need some caffeine without the ensuing logistical urinary challenges of a cup of coffee. In such an instance (or where you are out of milk and can't stomach a dark coffee!), these work great. I still prefer my coffee, but these come in handy when I need them. Recommended

Caffeine in an easy form factor. What more could you want?
As with many people I need an afternoon boost at work. For a while I was buying Starbucks instant coffee and International Delight creamers (see my other reviews) to keep at my desk, as sadly my employer doesn't provide a coffee machine and trekking out for coffee isn't always desirable.I do like coffee, and while the instant Starbucks isn't bad it's also not great. So to simplify my life I decided to just keep caffeine pills in my desk. Less muss, less fuss. I bought some 200mg NoDoz from my local drug store, and even though I'm a regular drinker of strong coffee those things made me really jittery to the point where it was uncomfortable. I started breaking the NoDoz pills in half, but they don't break cleanly and the sharp edges made swallowing the approximate-halves difficult.Giving up on that, I ordered these Jet-Alert pills from Amazon and they're just right. They're small and easy to swallow with a diameter of 7mm (just over 1/4" - about the size of the average aspirin). The dosage is perfect in the sense that they don't make me feel "caffeinated", but definitely perked up; Same as with a cup of coffee. And at about 5 cents/pill (at the time of this writing) they're a heck of a lot cheaper than coffee. If you're looking to a cheap and easy alternative to coffee, give these a try.Heck, they're healthier too (I'm not a doctor) if you take your coffee loaded with sugar and/or creamer (I checked and those International Delight creamers that I was using had a decent amount of sugar and fat). It's probably a good alternative to sugar- and chemical-laden energy drinks as well.

Free yourself from the arduous coffee routine!
I know, I KNOW. You RUN on coffee. You can’t do without it. It flows through your veins. You could never give up coffee. No way, no how. You think caffeine pills are dangerous. (“I’m so excited! I’m so…scared.”)But hear me out. These caffeine pills are a HOLY GRAIL for morning-averse people like me who don’t have the wherewithal to futz with the morning coffee routine.I’m a zombie in the mornings. Useless! Cranky! Everything hurts! I am – get this – sometimes rude to household members who try to talk to me before I'm fully awake! It takes me about a decade to fully wake up each morning.Back in my naive youth, I kept a coffee pot on my nightstand - one of those old-school two-cup Mr. Coffee jawns. I wouldn’t be awake enough to make it to the kitchen, so I’d have to consume my morning coffee bedside.I was slave to the entire coffee ritual - the buying bag of it at the store. The tending to Mr. Coffee every night. The dumping of the old grounds and scooping of the fresh into a cute frilly white filter that I always seemed to run out of. The triple-checking that I depressed the “Timer” button. The waking up to the gurgling sound of brewing and the wonderful smell. The risky fumbling as I aimed the boiling hot liquid in the dark from the pot to mug and taking that first sip that invariably scalded my lips. And as the years piled on, my stomach became less and less amenable to me pouring gallons of hot, dark acidic liquid down into it, I’d be doubled over in pain for a majority of the morning. BUT, I NEEDED caffeine!I know that you think you can’t live without this routine and your morning Joe. But I’m here to tell you it’s codswallop, people! CODSWALLOP!There’s a BETTER WAY! And it’s these Jet-Alert 100 MG 120 count pills! With these beauties on my nightstand, all I have to do now each night is simply ensure that there’s a cup of water on my nightstand. (I use a sippy cup in case I bump into it at night). When that awful blaring alarm shrieks its first BEEP at the buttcrack of dawn, and my stomach sinks in response to the agony of waking up that awaits me, alI I do is roll over, open the easy-open bottle, retrieve a pill and swallow.Bam. That’s it! No scalding! No buying Keurig cups for approximately $87/cup. No spillage of boiling liquids or grounds rotting in the coffee machine over the weekend! I can snooze for about 20 minutes, then – bam! – the heart-pumping plant derivative kicks in and I’m up and at ‘em…relatively speaking. So, all of you slaves to your coffee machine, to your barista and favorite coffee franchise – free yourself! You don’t NEED all the dog-and-pony show of the coffee (unless, you know, you really like it and don't mind the effort and money.) All you need is these sweet, sweet caffeine pills - a panacea! - to keep you energized. And for you mistaken “Saved by The Bell" fans, no. Caffeine pills are no more dangerous than the caffeine in your coffee. Sure, caffeine from either coffee or pills affects you biologically, and for some with medical conditions may affect you detrimentally, but the caffeine in pills is no more ‘dangerous’ or potent than coffee in the same dose. I don't get more jittery when taking these as compared to drinking coffee.I especially like this particular version, because you’re only getting a reasonable 100Mg of caffeine, as opposed to the 200-plus found in most other oblong caffeine pills.Fun fact for all you diabetics out there – taking pure caffeine (without any coffee, creamer, sugar) raises your blood sugar! Surprise!

Straight forward caffeine tablets, good dose and price!
It's hard to rate this a 4 as its perfect caffeine, but hard to rate 5 as I'd love someone to make a caffeine tablet with just one or 2 ingredients that might aide in sublingual without it necasarily being liquid so you could still just toss it down like a pill when ya wanted to too! I have gotten used to so many things bitter sour acidic caustic etc and dont recomend using acidic things sublingually in any longterm fashion. I do use these tablets 2 at a time and almost as bad as tylenol but I crush one maybe both up and add a half mouthful of water and reaally hold it under my tongue. I love caffeine sublingualy. Kicks in way faster but having some food in ya and having some sublingually absorbed under the tongue and between or behind the cheeks(bucal administration, similar to sublingual) and the slow metabolized caffeine you swallow really makes the 200mg go a long way in my opinion. I like to switch and maybe take just 100mg caffeine but 100mg l theanine too, sometimes 100mg methyliberine with the 100mg caffeine or even all 3. But these caffeine pills are such a small size and good price they became my go to for they're simplicity and versatility! They are the real deal, no knock off or under dosed batches as far as I can tell!
