Worked immediately!
My pit bull terrier mix puppy loves to chew on everything- wood, carpet, bed frames. After spraying this on, she immediately stopped chewing on it. I sprayed her favorite items twice, 7 days apart about a month ago and she has still not chewed on any of these areas. Will definitely continue to use this especially if we buy something new so she knows not to chew on it. The odor is strong for a couple hours then dissipates pretty quickly. The smell was a little overwhelming at first but overall not bad.

It doesn't work.
The product does not work. I had meant to return it but due to illness and assuming the return time was much longer than I discovered I guess I have wasted my money. We rescue dogs and cats and they are usually older animals. This time it is two brother puppies born on Oct. 4, 2023. They chew on anything they can so I ordered the "Bodhi Dog" bitter no chew & hot spot spray. The pups have chewed about four square inch holes in two places on a floor rug which we will have to replace. They have chewed up a nice wicker basket that we keep the dog toys in. We have had that basket for years but now it is chewed so bad we will probably have to toss it as it looks terrible. I don't like to return items so we have kept trying to saturate the items with the spray, but to no avail. The final l blow is the short return period. Hope no one else experiences what we have with this product. Will check with Petsmart and get a verbal guarantee that theirs works. A.R.

Anti chew spray
I really wish this spray was more of a deterrent, but it’s not. I spray it on walls, under the couch lining, blankets, carpets and anywhere I don’t want her chewing. It takes a while to dry on some surfaces. She doesn’t seem to mind the bitter taste that much. It may have halted chewing briefly, but overall she still chews. With that being said it’s a good product, just wish it worked a little better. It doesn’t have a too offensive smell & it’s not messy.

Not much to choose from.
The bottle felt greasy on the outside, the pump sprayer is difficult to use, especially when covering a large area. It might be okay for a spot, but I'm trying to keep the dogs out of a large area. it didn't seem very effective, the dogs still pooped and peed where I didn't want them to go. I cleaned the area, mopped, then sprayed and sprayed and sprayed. It did seem to slow them down some.

Wow - a product that works
I have a 9 month old golden doodle that has destroyed (chewing) my living room furniture. She’s chewed all decorative pillow corners & now the actual sofa arms. Bought this Bitter no chew & hot spot spray Lenongrass . I bought because of reviews & it’s been an awesome product. This has a very strong smell difficult to explain the smell - not bad - not great/ sort off cheap cologne but tones down after a day. This is highly bitter, additionally, open windows when u spray it. The atomized spray will get into your nose, rear throat , it’s wicked. Now, my doodle will chew anything that she can grab & destroy it. Example many pairs of shoes. So I took the un chewed leftover rubber crock shoe & sprayed it.( if it’s rubber she can’t resist it) I sprayed it & put it on an ottoman where she would be able to take it! I sprayed all pillow corners, arms of sofa that she continues to chew! Guess what no more chewing. I saw her try to chew one of the recently sprayed area & the look & negative reaction was priceless. ( I really enjoyed watching her negative reaction- it was priceless-my bad, but still priceless). Well it’s been two days & the crock shoe is still on the ottoman & she hasn’t touched it or any of the previously chewed spots. I took a leftover pillow that hadn’t been chewed sprayed & put it where she could chew or grab it. Well, she’s left it alone. Finally a product that works. It doesn’t take much to be effective. The scent isn’t bad except initially. No more chewing & destroying things! I gave the scent 5 stars not because it’s awesome scent but because I believe the strong scent help deter the dog , along with the horrid bitter taste.

Spray bottle doesn't work properly.
There's a little arrow on top of the cap, but even if I point it in the right direction, the liquid just drips out and runs over my hand. Shaking it put a few drops on the small rug I have an older dog who sometimes sees small rugs as wee-wee pads. So far, she's only been laying on it. I also used a vinegar and water spray just in case. I'll try the product again, but just haven't had the inclination because it's too messy.

Bitter Apple Spray saved Christmas!
I had the pleasure of purchasing Bodhi Doh Premium Bitter Apple No Chew Spray when my sweet baby angel cat decided that this would be the year he was going to destroy Christmas by chewing on the artificial tree he barely registered ever existed years prior. Traditional attempts to deter his attention were throttled by his unwavering will to take down the illuminated beacon to which a cookie gobbling Satan is guided into our homes by. I was bamboozled by my first attempt at a no chew spray by a dastardly Amazon seller whose tactic of updating a single listing with different products resulted in review confusion and a bottle of "Don't Pee Here" spray arriving at my door. In desperation "Don't Pee Here" went on the tree, but my feline Grinch continued to chomp on those wired branches. Fate (and much better reading on my part) brought me to Bodhi Doh Premium Bitter Apple No Chew Spray to which Satan... I mean Santa's Prime delivery elf placed at my front door. Christmas would be saved this day. With a scent akin to pure rubbing alcohol, I sprayed and sprayed covering the entire circumference of the tree to which my precious angel boys teeth could reach. Despite being engulfed in bitter apple fumes and now having an index finger aching from the constant spraying, upon walking up to his target that cat scoffed, tasted, scoffed again, AND WALKED AWAY NEVER TO CHEW AGAIN! (Well... it's been a week!)In short: I sprayed VERY generously; it smells abysmal, but the small dissipates quickly and is worth suffering for a few minutes); I am fairly certain I will need to reapply the spray at some point, but it's been one week with my cat now chewing my Christmas tree.

Does the job
Only seems to work on power cables and not furniture if it did this would be a 5 star review.

Didn’t work
I’ve been trying to train my 6.5 month mini poodle to pee on a specific spot. I followed the instructions and sprayed where I wanted him to pee. He smelled it once and didn’t even care or pee on the spot
