Light, comfortable, easy to inflate and pack up
Great experience with this product. It is pretty easy to inflate (by mouth), comfortable to sleep on, easy to pack up back into the original bag, small (about the size of a nalgene style water bottle) when rolled up, and light weight. It is a bit on the noisy side to move around on. I haven't found that to be a major issue, but worth noting.I have used this primarily for sleeping on hard floors, including a pretty comfortable night on the floor of the airport.

Rubicon Trail Tested/Proven
Used it on the Rubicon Trail. Small and light, but provided great comfort. Blew up by mouth quickly.

SUPER COMFY
Very comfortable and portable...one thing I didn't like was that it seems to have a hole. I was laying on it and heard all the air rush out. I used this on a week long service trip and every morning I would wake up with none or little air left. Maybe it is just one that is defective but I am looking into sending it back to get a new one.

Great backpacking pad. light and durable
I like this pad a lot for backpacking. I've taken it on 3 week long backpacking trips and a dozen or so weekend trips.Pros:- very cost effective- very light. There is no insulation in here.- the "static V" shape really does help with comfort.- durability, as I mentioned, this pad has held up much longer than I expected. I've been on about 12-15 trips with this pad and had no leaks. I'm pretty careful not to let any rocks or sticks in the tent when rolling it up.- space: I used to have a foam accordian sleeping pad. This pad is definitely much more compact in the pack and can be stored internally.Cons:- comfort, it isn't as comfortable as I would like. I am a 190lbs and I can't really side sleep with this pad. Plan on stomach or back sleeping if you are over 160lbs or so.- not too much else, pretty good pad especially for backpacking.

I Really Like Klymit
I've had the Recon for many years, and it was time to buy a second sleeping pad. I tried some cheaper off brands, but I was not happy with them. I've gone back to Klymit, and this Static V is perfect for my needs. I'm 5'10" and 205lb, works well for ground camping or in a hammock.

Description a little misleading
I have an older lightweight Static V with the push pull valve, which has worked pretty nice. Decided to get a second one. It was unclear, but it seemed like this would come with a flat valve. Instead it's the corner mounted "twist valve" that I've had issues with on my klymit self inflating pad. The plastic would separate at the corners from the bed material creating a leak. Either of the other two options would've been desirable. The corner twist valve, I'm not really happy about. Will still give it a try though.Other gripe, the packaging says, "...compatible with [Klymit's] Rapid Air Pump". It's not. The information for the Rapid Air Pump indicates that it only supports the flat valve or push pull valve, not the corner twist valve, the Amazon description for that tool says as much. Pretty disappointed by the lack of clarity on the valve type with this. It's not even shown in the pictures on here.Anyway, some of the nice bits. The design historically has been pretty comfortable for what it is. It packs up really small. I also like to have it on hand as a backup if I'm car camping and the bigger/heavy inflatable mattress develops a leak. Works pretty well in a hammock as well.

Worst sleeping pad I've tried
I ended up giving this pad away to my cousin for free cause it was useless. If you are the best sleeper in the world and will be sleeping on warm, flat, pillowy ground, then sure, buy this trash.Otherwise, whoever said Klymit rivals the premium brands is lying. The pad has no firmness to it. The heavy points of my body sunk straight through it to the ground, and I weigh less than 150lbs.I'm a side sleeper and it really felt like my bones were making direct contact with the rocks in the ground. No heat insulation whatsoever. Whatever temp the ground is, so shall you be.Sleeping pads are one of those things where it really seems like you just get what you pay for, and this is my case in point.
