That really depends on the space in your sleeve, but Its not very thick, so it probly would.

Is the material breathable? I want to make sure my hard drive stays cool while in use.

It is a soft, but not weak or thin, fabric, not neoprene. It seems quite breathable. I do pull my drive out while using it, but other plugged in items that stay in the pockets do not feel exceptionally hot, just.. "normal plugged in hot"?
