Very nice gel pack. I bought this because I have a hip injury and need to have enough gel packs in the freezer. It’s so soft on one side like velvet and plastic on the other side which I can feel the cool more..I switch the sides them back-and-forth depending how cool I want it to be. It’s a very nice size and it covers a large area if I want and if I don’t, I can just fold it. It’s not too heavy when it’s frozen, which means a lot to me because I cannot lift a lot of things..I highly recommend it to have for yourself and your family. It’s made very well and I’m sure it will last many years.

I was torn between this size or a smaller one that was a couple dollars less. I’m so glad I went with this. The extra inch makes a difference and I didn’t expect that. Allowed me to wrap it and pull it down rather than sticking up in weird ways at the end.It’s flexible even when right out of the freezer. It is COLD! I mean painfully cold even through a sweat shirt, so be sure to wrap it in a towel. I use a light weight gauze throw blanket. Long enough to use it to wrap around me and thick enough to regulate just how cold this gets.It gets warm in about 35mins if laid on, but works like a charm and freezes back surprisingly fast.Since it’s clay and gel I can move it around and spread it out inside itself. Much easier than the gel one I have. I plan to buy another. Just so I can rotate them.Great value, sturdy material and seams. Well made and flexible. Highly recommend and actually plan to use this summer to keep my bed cooler.

This ice mat is AMAZING! It stays cold for a very long time. I've used it for 2 hours straight and it is still cool after that amount of time. I am ordering a second one so that I can have one ready at all times. This helps with my significant back pain, which spans from the top of my spine all the way to my buttocks. It helps to relieve the intense muscle spasms that plague me all throughout the day. I also bought a couple other ice pack products by this same brand, which includes the one that wraps around the hip ( I also wrap that one around my shoulder to relieve spasms in the scapular region), and the one that is used with a belt to wrap around the waist for lower back pain. Great quality as well!

Works as described as far as getting cold and being convenient due to size. Only thing, the description states that it can be used hot and cold, but on the back side of the magic gel pack states not to use it as hot, not to put it in hot water nor the microwave. Might have to return it and get one that can be used as hot as well. Other than that, it works great.

This is an excellent product to use. I had lower back pain, it covered the entire area without having to move it around. The pricing was not bad either. It also stays cold for a longer amount of time than any other ice pack I have purchased.

I put this in the fridge for a few hours before using. It was nice and cold yet not uncomfortably so. Great for hot flashes or pain. I love this large size; it covers my entire back. When it got warm, I took it off and set it to the side. In a couple of hours, I put it on again and it was cool enough to use again. When not in use, you can fold it or roll it up. No leakage, no wetness. I've recommended these to my friends.

I used after surgery and it’s the perfect size. I like that it is velvety on one side. It is more comfortable than most ice packs.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:I really liked the way little ones could slide their hand into the strap and hold it in place and for the soft backing. However, I was really disappointed that the plastic on front was so thin. My 3 year old dropped it one time when getting it out of the freezer and the plastic ripped open, with the little orbie-type balls coming out. Will need to throw the damaged one away.
