The mesh heads provide an excellent realistic playing feel thanks to their rebound behaviour. The crash and ride cymbals are "chokable" and can be stopped by hand just like an acoustic drum set. The pads are mounted on the very stable 4-legged rack. The Commander 500 drum module of the CSD500 is equipped with 358 high-quality sounds. It offers 29 preset drum kits to choose from and 12 user drumkit benches. The sound can also be refined by the integrated 3-band equaliser and the 2 reverb settings.
