Serfas Full Suspension Cruiser Bicycle Saddle

My husband bought one after reading all the reviews and doing his own research. He loved it so I tried his out for one of my longer rides. I did that same ride before with the stock seat and was in pain for days. But with this seat, I had no pain and truly enjoyed my ride. At this reasonable price point, I'd recommend it to anyone!Installation tip: when you're ready to install, don't remove the screws entirely so that the plate falls off, just loosen them enough so the plate dangles loosely. Fit the seat and plate to your seat and then tighten the screws. Not more than a few minutes.

The stock seat that came with my Giant bike was actually quite nice -- well shaped, good gel, but missing that all important groove though. It would get uncomfortable after about 90 mins riding, with breaks offering diminishing returns of relief. OK for commutes but was restricting weekend fun.I was hoping for maybe a 40% improvement or something here, but it is no joke more like 400%. It's ridiculous how much more comfortable this is -- can ride for hours now. Was not expecting game changing technology but this was worth every cent.The downside is that it's BIG -- I think only the 2nd biggest this brand offers, but still. If you've got a skinny racing bike or hybrid, it would be... odd... to use this seat. Very much a cruiser saddle. Just one that happens to be more comfortable than many office chairs I've used.I mean, "full suspension" -- they are not kidding. I think probably two of me could sit on this thing.

Although this seat is well made & an acceptable size, I am unsure if it is the most comfortable seat for my riding experiences. Honestly for the price paid, I expected more. Appears this seat is very durable & should last a long time. After returning 3 other seats including cloud 9, this seat was the most comfortable to me. I am a senior rider in an up-right position while pedaling. Most rides are continuous for 35-45 minutes purely for exercise & strengthening my knees. I ride daily at 240lbs, with hopes of better seat. However this one fits my needs & my search is over.

I am a 65 year old woman and I ride my bike about 12 miles a day. I have been riding daily for the past 15 years and this is the only seat I will use. My hubby needed a new seat recently and ordered 8 different seats to try, including the Cloud 9 that gets good reviews as well. His final analysis was that this Serfas seat was the most comfortable of all. I have probably purchased 5 of these seats over the last 15 years (I have several bikes). Absolutely the most comfortable seat.

Generally, comfortable. Squeaks like crazy; even after greasing all of the springs, which helped at first, it started squeaking again in no time. After just a few months of use the fabric covering is coming loose, which makes the seat look shabby. I'm sure it's just a matter of time before it tears. Knowing that, I would have opted for a seat with a different type of covering.

It was too big for my bike and I returned it.

I’ve ridden many miles on this seat and find it very comfortable for long distance riding. I’ve had two of them...one on a regular road bike and one on a straight bar road bike where I sit up a little straighter. The seat works very well for me on both bikes. I can feel the springs absorbing some of the bumps which works well for me. Some riders might not like that slight bounce but it’s fine with me since I’m not racing...I’m just riding for pleasure and exercise. I think it’s a great seat and recommend it. It’s comfortable and very good quality and they last for years.

Biggest obstacle for me on a bike was the seat! This seat has enabled me to work up to 30 miles a day, and has been installed for over 13,300 miles. It is used in all weather conditions and on 2 different bikes. It has held up perfectly, was easy to mount and adjust, and remained comfortable. It still looks like new. The suspension, padding, and size combine to make this the most comfortable seat I ever tried, and I went through 4 seats prior to this one. If you are a large person, as I used to be, this seat will help you stay with your exercise program. I would recommend this product to anyone looking for a comfortable bike seat.

It's a bit wider than I thought it would be, but I really like it! I don't even have to wear my padded biking pants.
