Its also a useful quick reference guide
For a UK plastic surgery trainee, this book ticks all the boxes. It covers all the topics and with a slant for the FRCS. Its also a useful quick reference guide. This does not replace a textbook or an operatic text. Look elsewhere if that is what you need. There are now several books on the market and its good to stick to just one in the build up for an exam. I don't think you'll go far wrong with this.

Excellent update of a must read for the speciality. Highly recommended for the exam, but also very useful in day to day practice

Core revision text
A very good book with all relevant core content for passing FRCPlast part I. This is an ideal companion for Stones as what each lacks the other seems to address. It's full of invaluable points .It is a revision aid and should not be used as a main text . It's value is in identifying areas of weakness and then addressing those more fully with other means . It's not ideally used for 1st time viewing of material.
