Awesome fighter
This one crept by me, I immediately noticed similarities to Guily Gear. Then realized it was made by a lot of the same people. Great game, easy to pick right up.

Another solid 2D fighter
I can always count on Arc System Works and Aksys for a solid and fun fighting experience. Though aesthetically Under Night is very similar to most of their 2D games, there's just enough difference in tone and mechanics to make it worth checking out if you're a fan of the older guilty gear games in particular. I have yet to play in portable mode as I usually play with my system docked, but I haven't noticed any issues there such as lag and graphically the visuals are sharp and animations are smooth. Control is a high point as well, though I expected nothing less. They are responsive and pulling off moves and combos is simple. Overall I recommend this game to any 2D fighter enthusiasts who have played the hell out of BlazBlue cross tag battle on Switch already in our looking for something new.

Fast, Flashy, and Fairly Priced
A fast-paced and we’ll-balanced fighter at a fantastic price! ArkSys knows how to produce a quality fighting game. It should come as no surprise to anyone who’s played Guilty Gear or Blaze Blue Battle. Although I was entirely unfamiliar with the series and its characters, I really like their designs, quirks, and (Japanese) voice acting. If you like 2D combo mania fighters and anime, you’ll enjoy Under Night!

Good game
Fluid combat is quite simple in concept. If you struggle with combo moves the main mode is still easily manageable, combat seem to string together basic attacks nicely. Keep an idea of your placement to maintain pressure of attacks

Very good 2d fighting game.
I love playing fighting games, I like how you can come up with creative combos in this game. I give it five stars for that reason since that's pretty much the biggest reason I bought it.

Great switch title
I’m into 2D fighting games and this is a great title, the ability to play it on the go is awesome. I haven’t played or seen the ps4 version but the switch version is great.

Stupid name for a fun fightning game.
No issues with the delivery.Aksys have become masters in creating fighting games and this is another superb entry in their ever growing library of anime fighters."Under Night In-Birth Exe: Late [Cl-R]"' battle system most resemble the one found in Dragon Ball Fighterz but where everyone of the 21 characters included feels different to play. You won't find 4 different versions of "Goku" here or characters that uses essentially the same moves.Animation/design, music/sound is of the same high quality as other Aksys fighters.Overall a great game. This is the definitive edition of the first Under Night In-Birth game and a sequel was confirmed to be in the works... I just hope it's not going to have a name like "Under Night In-Birth Exe: Late [Cl-R] Second - WD-40".
