After just a month of use my unit just started blowing fuses. It was within the Amazon return window so last Saturday I returned it and by Tuesday I had the replacement unit. The initial install process was simple and the navigation lights and button lights from Yak Attack really facilitated an idiot proof install on my new kayak. Once done it all worked flawlessly again. I guess I got a bad unit originally but things like that can happen. Can't say enough good things about the replacement process.

The media could not be loaded. If I knew better I’d stuck with the toggles switch that is a lot cheaper and reliable. This item is way over priced and doesn’t work well at all. The customers who you see advertising for the Yak power Bluetooth system must have received theirs for free or got paid to lie about the product. Keep your money and add toggles and you will be better off

The media could not be loaded. I was looking for an option to power my nav lights, on board lights, fish finder, and one more future option wirelessly. I paired this system with a Yak Power Lithium battery and I’m very content with my decision. The system is very easy to install and the functionality I great!

I ordered one, and received it a few days ago, it was re-boxed in a damaged box as if it didn't work and someone had returned it and then they never inspected it, upon the return, they then, re-sold it.. I called, they made good on my purchase and a new one arrived today, one day after my phone call... GREAT customer service. I connected everything and it lit up like a Christmas tree... get it, it was all lights, greens and reds...LOL. I went from disappointed to completely satisfied.. thanks Amazon!!! I will feel safer on the water due to this "set up"!!! I will be "YouTubing" my Yak-Power video soon.... thanks again!!!

First off let me say I have not had this long enough to get time on the water so I may need to update this review down the road, and now that I figured out how it works. The documentation is minimal which led to considerable confusion in my testing. There is some must know information lacking. First the keypad comes with batteries but you must open up the unit and remove the plastic films protecting the contacts, then make sure the batteries are oriented correctly. Second, apparently for the unit to operate at all, you must install the app on your phone and use the app to activate the Bluetooth. Then everything works. Before I installed the app the keypad did not do anything, so it does not appear to connect with the switch independent of the app on your phone. This leaves me with the question of what happens if my phone goes dead on the water or even if I get too far from the kayak carrying my phone like at the ramp, etc. So we will see. But it appears the phone app is a critical component and the documentation needs to provide more information. Lastly the keypad can run on 12v wired but there is not connections for this on the switch or externally on the keypad. There is an internal attachment for 12v power inside the keypad, but the wire apparently needs to be purchased separate and spliced in somewhere for power source. But the app on the phone is the master and commander. So if the keypad batteries die, you still have control through the app. But if your phone dies, you are out of luck.

System constantly loses signal and or turns itself on and off while mid use. Not reliable. I have this system to run the black box on my livescope and will just shut down after an hr of use even though the battery is over 80% of power remaining.
