Works well with BENQ w1070
I tested these with a BENQ w1070 projector...Pros:- Synchronized quickly and didn't lose sync.- Good 3D quality, I didn't notice any "red shift".- Very light and comfortable if you're not wearing glasses. My daughter loved them.Cons:- The bridge on these glasses uses a pair of rubber-covered bendable prongs that jut out below/behind the glasses, and they're fairly narrow. As a consequence, when used with eyeglasses they tend to sit a bit higher and more forward than I would like.- These don't appear to be as well made (but also are not nearly as heavy or expensive) as the TrueDepth glasses in the $50 range (or other equivalents). Update: the metal prong inside the rubber bridge pad is starting to poke through the rubber after adjusting it and very light use, so I've removed a star.Summary:I think these glasses are great if you're buying a bunch for a family on a budget, or if you prefer lighter weight glasses (I suspect women & kids might prefer these). Not as good for people who want to wear them over glasses, especially if you have a wide bridge.

Fantastic child to young adult 3D Glasses
I just finished trying out TrueDepth new 3d glasses...Test Setup:BenQ W1070 1080p 144hz 3d ProjectorVisual Apex Vapex 100" ScreemPanasonic DMP-BDT321 Bluray PlayerOnkyo R990 7.2 Surround Sound System with Polk Audio Monitor II series Speakers and SubsAll professional tuned and calibrated.3D Test Material:IMAX Under the SeaStar Trek Into the DarknessAvengersNow with that out of the way, my thoughts well they work very well, I saw no red tint from the lens themselves but I did see red tint if I looked up or down since the lenses did not completely cover my range of view. They synced up instantly even when leaving and returning to the room, however this particular model, the Firestorm LT is in my opinion not meant for larger people, I was only able to wear them for a short period of time before they became uncomfortable again due mainly to their small design. I feel these will be great for people who don't wear glasses and are small in build or use with children. Overall great design, it is indeed light weight, the matte color plastic keeps reflection from occurring and as some have mentioned it does feel cheap but certainly performs and what do you expect from plastic with that price point. Sure they could have made it out of Carbon fiber but then would you be willing to pay 4 times the price? yeah that's what I thought, so you have to handle with a bit of care at least at this price point if something does happen you're not going to break into tears over it. In conclusion these glasses performed very well, recharged very quickly and image coloring was not effected at all and image quality remained sharp and vibrant, I would say these kept up with other 3D Glasses that normally are priced in the $50-80 price range. I personally would give these glasses a 4 out of 5 but I would give their customer support a 10 out of 5 as they go above and beyond to help their customers far better then I have seen from any other company.

Failed to take a charge after only 4 or 5 recharges
I have 4 pairs of these and all four now fail to take or keep a charge. The first one happened very quickly after purchase, but my daughter accidentally knocked it to the floor and then stepped on it and broke it when she got up to look for it, so it was no longer in a condition that I could really test out why it failed to charge. The other three pair got placed in a box and put away for almost a year (they worked when put into storage). I wanted to revisit a 3D movie the other day so I took them out and, to no surprise after that long, they weren't charged. I picked a pair and plugged it into a charging brick and the light flashed red once and that was pretty much it. I left it to charge for a couple hours to no avail. Trying the other two pair, I got the same result, so I tried a larger charge brick and a different cable. Same results. The second brick can easily charge an iPad Pro, so it's not under-powered. All three pair work fine while plugged in, but since the charge port is in the nose portion of the bridge pointing downward, they really can't be used properly while plugged in.I'm really disappointed in the longevity of these. Considering they weren't being used at all and all three died, at the very least, there was a bad batch out of the factory. Seeing the same behavior in one of the questions above for this product, I suspect it was more than one bad run. I know they aren't terribly expensive, but to break while in protected storage?

these glasses would be a good deal. Hope the maker will fix this issue ...
If not for a major issue with battery (as reported by other customers too), these glasses would be a good deal. Hope the maker will fix this issue and run some decent QA on their products. Glasses work fine when the charging cable is plugged in. And when charging with the same cable for 6 hours, it could not work even a couple of minutes. Looks like a bad battery they are using.

Firestorm glasses
These glasses are the best out of all the different DLP link glasses that I own. They show a lot more depth and clarity or at least to my eyes they do. Before these firestorm came out I bought the first gen version of these glasses but had to return them because they always fell outta sync and flickered like crazy, at least for my samsung tv. I gave true depth a 2nd shot and these glasses are the best so make sure to get the firestorm version.

3d effect is good and little apparent tint
Syncs readily with benq w1070 dlp projector, 3d effect is good and little apparent tint, main issue is it doesn't fit well over regular glasses, mainly good for kids, get the firestorm XL - it has much better view coverage too
