LifeStride Women's Bounty Slip-On Loafer

I bought these shoes with high hopes that I could wear them. I tried on a similar pair in the mall and thought these would work. I bought my regular size and they slip on the heel, but are a bit tight in the toe box. I have a bunion on my right foot and these shoes absolutely kill me on that foot. I've tried everything to stretch them out, but they just didn't work for me. Very well made and comfy otherwise.

I have very finicky feet (pre-arthritic, some old broken bones, bit of a bunion, extremely high arches, slightly wider than average with normal heel), so finding shoes that fit is incredibly difficult. Add to those challenges the fact that I prefer whenever possible to avoid animal products (like leather) for ethical reasons. Finding business-appropriate vegan (or at least non-leather) shoes is tough. These loafers are for me, good enough although the fit isn't perfect.The pluses:1. This kind of loafer style with a bit of an elastic gore at the front often offers a good fit for my high-arched feet.2. Wide shoes sometimes look like clown shoes, but these have a slightly tapered toe but not too pointy.3. The heel is low enough for comfortable walking but just high enough to work with skirts. Another 1/4" would have been ideal.4. There is a good amount of padding in the shoe, under the insole but surpringly, even along the sides of the shoes.5. They're not made of leather.6. Fit-wise, my feet are too wide for a regular most of the time but sometimes wide shoes are too wide. These are a little narrower than is typical, which is good for me (but those with standard wide feet might need extra-wide).The minuses:1. These are a little shorter than typical. I tried both a 9W and a 9.5W. The 9.5Ws are slightly too long (my right heel slips a bit), but the 9Ws are a bit too short and tight.2. Sizing might be a bit inconsistent. I found that the 9Ws didn't feel as wide as the 9.5Ws.

Awesome shoe! I wear size 9 and they litwrally slipped off my feet when walking around. Returning and getting a size 8.5 and hope they fit. ***** update***** 8.5 size is perfect! Love them! Last lifestride loafer I got was 20 years ago and these will last just as long

The shoe fit well except when I started walking in them, my heels slipped so badly I walked out of them. Even with heel pads designed to stop slipping, I still walked out of them. Naturally I could not return them since I wore them once.

I love Life Stride. My brand of choice as I know the size 9 will always fit. It’s just a little wide but I have a narrow foot. Still I love them. Very comfortable and appropriate for work.

Actually saw these in black at a store and tried them on but wanted brown so Amazon to the rescue. Love the color and fit. Very comfy and super cute.

I bought these to wear to work. Loafers are typically comfortable and these were not.Right out of the box they were very stiff. I had to buy a heel stretcher because the heel leather was so tight it dug in. I have had them for about 6 months wearing them to walk to and from my office where I sit behind a desk most of the day. About 2 weeks ago my heel was bothering me and I looked down and noticed that the entire structure of the heel in the center was gone. The heels are hollow! Typically when you pay a little more for shoes the last quite a while or at least that's been my experience. That is not the case with these and I will not be purchasing them again.

Wearing the shoes for the first time today. They fit snug but I can already tell they will loosen up with wear. I really like them and would order again.
