My original washer drain pump failed after 15 years. Noise was odd and OE code and wasn't pumping out water on drain cycle. Impeller blades were loose on motor shaft and impeller wasn't turning. Shame it had to go bad on my day off before going back to work and needed clothes washed for work. Ordered this pump and it was here the same day. Took me 10 minutes to remove old pump from under the washer. Just tilted the unit back. Huge access hole on bottom and remove the 5 screws holding it to the chassis then the 3 for the pump motor to housing. Two wires there is no polarity you can mark it or take a picture or orientation before disconnecting it. Clean the strainer filter too make sure there isn't debris in that. Swap the shroud housing to the new pump and reinstall opposite of taking it apart. Washing clothes with the new pump it is quieter than the original pump.

This saved me! Thought I had to buy a whole new washer and spend but then I figured out what was the issue with the error codes and saw a few vids . Did some research and found this same part for a great price compared to others! Def worth the buy if you know what you are doing!

Pictures of the original LG Part and this Replacement part. They are the same brand (ASKOLL). Markings are somewhat different. Looks identical though.

OEM product in OEM packaging. Perfect fit for my LG wm3370hwa. Can't speak to longevity yet, but I can say that it works very well. I suspect my old one was working less than efficiently for some time before completely going out because, since installing the new pump, my laundry no longer has a musty smell. Very satisfied overall.

I have an LG 2014 clothes washer that just stopped working. Wasn't draining. So after looking up Youtube videos I figured it's probably a bad drain pump. It's a bit of a hassle to take off the front cover and undo the hoses, but well worth it. Saved $$ and also learned how to fix it myself so it's a good confidence boosting project.You can do it!
