We did this on Christmas and started at 9pm(why did we start late lol…I don’t know but we wanted to finish ) . We had 7 people total playing(from ages of 19-50) . We all reviewed the documents and talked about what we got from each document . We slowly made process and eventually solved this case in 2 hours and a half . It was really fun . I wouldn’t mind doing one during the holiday season with my family . Highly recommend..get it!

I used this for a Forensics Class
This activity was great. I am subbing for a high school forensics class and bought this item for a day where a lesson plan was not provided. The school has block scheduling, meaning classes are an hour and a half. Students completed the activity as a whole group and it took them down to the last minute to solve the case. This is a group of quiet students, so it was great to have them up, moving, and working with each other. I will buy another one for a different day for sure. The online questions to answer was extremely beneficial as well, as it kept the students on tract with objectives and an order to complete things. They loved it and asked if we could do another one soon!!! (Age frame, the students are 16-18 years old).

Little tricky at first, but great game
So I actually haven't played the Jane Doe version, but have played the Jamie Banks one. We were a little confused bc we thought we were missing papers, but some characters don't get that yellow paper or whatever. It's a really great game and super fun and interesting. Definitely find the right people to play with though bc out of like 5 people my aunt and I were the only ones who were really invested in playing. A little pricey, but I guess it makes sense with the amount of work that had to have been invested to make these. Definitely worth the buy and I absolutely will be buying a different version once we finish this one.

Hours of laughs and fun
Ok, true crime is my hobby, so when I found these, game night changed forever! My teenager and her friends even join in, anything that can convince a teenager to hang out with you on a Saturday night is a winner in my book! Takes hours to solve, which makes it more entertaining and worth the money! Just note that once opened, it really can’t be used again. One time game but worth every penny!

My teenage granddaughter loved these!
I gave these a 5-star rating, since my teenage granddaughter (who loves Forensic Files), was SO happy with this gift. She and a friend had been working on the first one at least 45 minutes and hadn't gotten too far with it (her words), so it must take a while to solve - especially if its your first try. (We purchased several for her.) At least it's not something one or two young people can solve right away, so in my mind, that adds to its overall value.

Pretty fun!
This Case File was very fun, the quality is good and you do feel a bit like you’re going through an unsolved case. It was fun to play with my family, you can break up the work in many ways. I just felt this story was less engaging than the other i had played.

A much anticipated part of our trip!
We take weekend girls trips twice a year and this is how we pass the time of the car ride! We take turns reading through all the material aloud in the car. After activities, we revisit it at night and usually finish it on the return trip. So fun to do with friends! Very easy to follow and performing the steps makes sense. Worth the money, for sure!

Very interesting case!
Very interesting case. Fun to play. We solved this in one sitting as opposed to other cases in which we had to re-visit.
