Had a single flight and was having a little trouble, took it in for a landing and lots of noise from right wing airelon servo. Tested on pwm servo tester and sure enough, bad response. faulty servo. I have written to skymall asking for a new servo, plane is still serviceable as a 3 channel until that arrives, otherwise it's a fine plane. I disliked the Christmas decorations so sanded her down & colored with paint markers, coated with polyeurothane. One day shipping took almost a week! It was late, ugly & broken, 4 stars feels generous! I may ammend the rating pending skymall response, if they don't send a new servo they will lose stars. I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt. They shipped it on time, ups had the problem, I knew what the plane looked like when I bought it, so that's on me. The selling of faulty merchandise can be rectified by supplying me with the broken part. If they don't, it's 3 stars.

Everything came as stated in the description with no missing parts and no shipping damage.After I charged the battery I took it to a nearby field and adjusted the center of gravity. Powered up the motor, threw it and put a lot of up elevator to fight 10mph wind gusts. My total flight time (because of wind lifts) was around 30 minutes using only enough motor to climb to around 50-70 feet.I might add a longer life battery to extend the flight and see if i can get it to soar at the beach.I recommend using and staying in high throws when in gyro mode as the gyro can interrupt your flight when the wind really picks up.In advance mode I was able to do multiple loops in a row, knife edge (to a degree) (wind) and rolls.When you cut the motor off it glides like a feather.I recommend this rc airplane (Xk a800) for any beginner getting into the hobby or just to pass time!

I do NOT recommend this airplane. Perhaps I just received a faulty one, but the controls only worked correctly for one flight. At the end of the first flight, and for the rest of the flights, the controls would occasionally work, then would stop, then might work again.Obviously, you can't really fly without controls working all the time. I suppose it is theoretically possible, but it is certainly not fun that way.I am an experienced RC pilot so I checked all the obvious things like binding on the cables, obstructions, range, etc.I will say that for the few short stretches where the controls worked correctly, the plane flew beautifully. However, that does not overcome the problems.

It flew away and I never saw it again

Im an experienced rc pilot and have to say this plane is challenging for the beginner to fly because of the gyro stabilization that supposed to help the beginner. It fights my control inputs and makes it fly erratic. Example i pitch up to climb and the plane will automatically pitch nose down. I have an older model w out gyro and it is a dream to fly. It would be perfect if you could turn off gyro.

The aircraft is good as a trainer, and that is about it. The servos don’t have good resolution and the stabilization fights the control inputs nonstop, so flying precise maneuvers is extremely difficult.Furthermore, the aircraft is fairly heavy for a glider and the run time is pretty abysmal if you don’t find any sort of lifting action. Severely dissapointed with WLtoys as their previous products are much better than this. Their F949 product is vastly better for cheaper.
