OLYMPUS OM SYSTEM M.Zuiko 17mm f1.8 (Black) for Olympus and Panasonic Micro 4/3 Cameras - International Version (No Warranty)

I bought this lens thinking it would be used rarely (i.e. just at night for starry sky stuff). But it is very compact, and paired with my OM-5 makes for a lightweight setup that you can carry in your pocket. It is relatively cheap, and a bargain, I think. Using a fixed prime makes you think a bit more about composition, and the wide aperture makes for fun with depth of focus.

Got this to have a 35mm equivalent prime lens for my Lumix G7. The autofocus is super fast, which is great for me as i do guitar instructional videos and am often moving around a bunch. You get some nice boekah with this lens at the 1.8f, i think it really excells for video shooting at 2-2.2f depending on the lighting! great budget lense!

Immediately, I loved the way it focused so fast and so close to subjects. Small and light, perfect to carry around.

I usually purchase my lenses second hand, but I couldn't pass up this lens at this price.This lens takes beautiful pictures and the manual clutch is a nice feature.

Great little lens, nice and fast for the M4/3 system. I use it on a GH4. One issue that I have found, which is not an issue with the Oly 12-40 Pro with the same manual focus snap ring, is the the GH4 does not pull up the focus magnifier when the manual focus ring is engaged.
