You can control the size of your ice.
I love this product. It’s easy to use, there’s no clean up, just put the bag turned over the sink to dry. And you can have crushed a little or like snow.

Sturdy, simple, easy to use, no regrets
I use this kit to make a lot of ice for my morning smoothie. The mallet is sturdy, smooth, well made, easy to swing. The bag is thick enough to stand up to being repeatedly beaten. I had planned to buy an old fashioned "ice cracker" (plastic handle/metal striker) and saw this kit. It was well reviewed. Looked pretty eco friendly. And it works great. They ask you to rinse the bag afterward (?) and then hang it to dry. The bag dries easily. No regrets.

So happy I bought this!
I found this product performed exactly as described. That’s saying something since I am recovering from a three week hospital stay and no where close to the strength I had before. But I’ll do anything for ice chips! So glad I purchased!

Good and interesting item
We were hoping for something better. It isn’t completely what we were expecting. Because it does not smash the ice as expected. It crushes some of the ice and some of the ice aren’t being crushed too well.But we still use it. Because after all, it crashes some of the ice so we have crushed ice.

Great for making ice for tiki drinks!
My husband and I love to make tiki drinks and bought this for making crushed ice versus using the blender. It is great! Crushing up the ice is easy (and cathartic) and no mess. This was recommended by a friend who teaches cocktail classes and is a great addition to our bar supplies

Good so far
Only used it a few times. The mallet seems solid and the bag seems durable. Although i do see a small area on the material that seems a little thin. Hopefully it will not tear. I think it would be better to include the instructions, for cleaning and first use suggestions, with the package instead of email.

Must-have bar accessory
For such a simple project, it's nicely made and works perfectly. I would have ice cubes in a zip bag. But, since the cubes all freeze together, breaking the ice resulted in a destroyed, leaking zip bag. Moving the ice into the bag, and using the mallet (it's really nice!), solves the problem.
