Hose clamps are a fail
Hose clamps failed on mine, totally snapped off after about 3 weeks. Caused thousands of dollars of damage to my boat right at the start of the season. New U joint bearings needed as they had been swimming in seawater, also the water pickup tube fell off causing engine overheating. Suggest only genuine VP parts for bellows, or at the very least don't use the supplied clamps that come with these cheapo kits.

Exhaust bellow kit from UANOFCN
I installed the bellow kit on my 1986 bayliner the bellow kit went very easy had only one thing that I had to get that was a bigger hose clamp for the drive bellow

The supplied hose clamps are junk and will immediately cut through the rubber boots upon tightening.
The rubber boots themselves are not great quality either but they will do.Just dont use the supplied clamps!Look at how the end is bent down and will cut through the boot!
