Very cute set, bought for a friend and supplemented it with some extra soil and perlite, larger rocks, as well as the plants needed for the terrarium.You can see from product pics and other reviews what's in it, it's fine for a small terrarium but for a medium/large one you will need to add to it, as others have said. Still, the packaging and instructions/tools etc make it worthwhile as part of a gift even if it needs supplementing. I bought it on special offer for £5, which made it a no-brainer, but probably wouldn't for £9+.

Perfect as part of a beginner's kit!

It is a great starter kit and was fun to make a small terrarium with my granddaughter. This would have got 5 stars if instructions were included on the box or a slip of paper inside, or even a picture to show the order for the layers. I found how to do it online and it turned out really nice. There was enough left over (except the charcoal) to make another small terrarium. Good value.

Fantastic dose what it says in the box assembly and build okay could have done with instructions 🫣🤣 but I think I have it done right and I loved doing itgood for the price

Bought this terrarium kit because it had everything I needed to set up a small terrarium. I did use a little extra soil of my own because I think my terrarium base was larger. But it has everything you need instead of having to buy separate bags of everything. Also on the box it gives the website to go onto to get guidance & video as how to plant up and care for your terrarium. Very pleased.

Definitely, I won't describe it for a large terrarium. I'm glad I bought it on discount and didn't pay the full price.
