UPDATE(9/22/20) Well...now my DRLs(daytime running lights) don’t work. My vehicle uses the low beam headlight bulbs as a DRL. During the bright daylight, it illuminates the bulbs at a lower brightness. Apparently, the new LED headlight bulbs won’t function at a reduced brightness, so they’re just off. ☹️ I have reached out to SeaLight and they promise to get back to me. I will update this after I hear back. Other than that, lights work great!!ORIGINAL REVIEW:OK, it's WAY too early to write a real review of these lights; I just installed them this evening. However, if they fail, I WILL, FOR SURE, update this review. I'm super impressed with SeaLight; this kit outfit my Saturn VUE AWD V6 beautifully. The light is bright and pure. I was concerned that the cooling fans would be loud; thankfully, even with the hood open, I need to put my ears right down to the light to even hear a thing. So, they're essentially silent. Packaging was great, they even give you disposable cotton gloves!! I paired them with new 880 SeaLight fog light bulbs as well, makes my old '06 look fresh! Cheers, safe driving to all !!

These Sealight 9005 9006 LED kit has been the best bang for buck I ever spent on my Scion TC. I started with a used car with the worst possible situation of yellow headlamps to begin with. So I purchased a headlamp polishing kit and it did the trick and boy that was quite the improvement in my night driving! After installing these bad boys I was blown away by the improved lighting and that cut-off line was a shock to see as I’ve owned many LEDs in the past but Sealight did it correctly. The build quality is far superior than my old OPT7 LED kit I used to have. And the fans! Guess what? I can’t hear them! Plug and play installation too. These came with gloves, double sided sticky tape and zip ties for mounting the small ballast parts. Aside from possibly having to realign my headlamps to used these LEDs. This to me is a perfect 5 stars! Great job Sealight!

I'm pleased how well they work in my 2009 Dodge Journey SXT. Because my headlights were yellowing, I had them cleaned at Sam's Club which did help somewhat but, they still weren't as bright compared to my 2013 Dodge Journey. After installing them into my 2009 Journey I compared the light to my 2013 and the light output is nearly as bright to my 2013 Journey, my 2013 headlights are not cloudy and yellowed. This is because the headlight housing is cloudy too on the inside which can't be cleaned. It's much, much, easier and cheaper to install these LED bulbs than to change the headlight assemblies. The LED bulbs are well focused so they light the side of the road much better plus much further down the road because it's a whiter light.

So. I initially bought 9005/9006 for my 2012 Dodge Avenger. When I installed them I had flickering. Looked like a Christmas tree. I took them off and initiated a return through Amazon. I was really disappointed because I really liked the brightness of this LED bulb. I did a little more research and found that flickering was common in some vehicles and sometimes needed an added resistor to get rid of the flickering. I contacted Sealight customer service but they were closed for the day. However I received a text the next morning from customer service. They verified that I needed a resistor. I provided them with my mailing info and they mailed me the resistors at no cost to me. It’s great to see a Company with such great customer service that stands behind their product!!!!

I must say I was skeptical at first when I purchased these for my 2017 dodge journey but I've had these for a hot minute now and feel I can write an honest review on this product... for starters installing was rather easy though i sliced the heck out of my thumb but once installed bam they are 100% awesome!!! No flicker without extra stuff these work perfect by themselves. MY ONLY COMPLAINT these were my first set of LED headlights and they were so bright I got a slight headache trying to get used to them 😆I am definitely going to get another set for my other car

Going on a year now and they’re still working good. My car is almost 20 years old and the lights used to dim when I turned on an accessory, but these ones eliminate that problem which is nice

3 year review: still working great.3 month review.Installed on 2010 US CorollaThe good: nice build quality, nice bight beam with good color and focus.The bad: nothing much, perhaps some better mounting options for the controller. Flickers on DLR (day light running) due to what I suspect is low voltage supplied by car during daytime with DLR, but you barely notice it except in reflection. This is not an issue unless it causes you to fail a state car test. Turn headlights to on and it goes away. Nighttime the car automatically turns headlights on with zero flicker.

Installed on Honda Accord LX 2009, This product works great, it's easy to install and shines very bright at night so that I can see the lines on the road. I highly recommend purchase the LED bulbs.My mechanic lost 30 minutes due to the replacement of 4 bulbs on the Honda Accord 2009, there are a few things to remove to get your hand on. and I spent $ 40. In fact, the old lamps shine almost like new.4 bulbs cost me $ 61 - which compared to the weaker bulbs is a good achievement.
