Nice piece for the money, for a beginning birder.
Purchased specifically to take photos of birds at home with my phone. As a new birding enthusiast however, I did not want to spend a lot of money, having so much other stuff to buy. Definitely can take photos of my feathered friends (although they rarely cooperate by staying in one place long enough for my phone to focus.)Pluses. Easy to adjust, Easy to set up the apparatus for phone camera, adequate magnification for my purposes. (I have excellent binoculars for regular use.) Nice product for the money. Definitely not high end.Minuses: very small range of view, especially when I have to increase magnification on my phone. Also it is really hard to get my 7Plus iphone in case into the adapter, but just manage. And the tripod legs are tiny, so I will need to find a much higher surface to place the device.If you want to dip a toe into birding, go for it.

Got this monocular to watch the skyline out of my apartment in Jersey. It works pretty good, surprisingly great actually for a $50 monocular. I plan on using this on my next trip to snag some lovely views right from the hotel room!

good tool
it is quite useful it is a good tool to take pictures remotely with my phone I like the quality of the photos that I manage to obtain when using it it is comfortable to take it anywhere with me it is not heavy which makes connecting it to my device simple and easy to handle

I enjoy using the scope for bird watching & critter watching, like squirrels. This is why I bought it. Once you set it to your liking it pretty much stays that way & seldom needs resetting, unless of course, you are not the only one using it. The tripod is fairly rugged for its size and easy to setup & use. I especially will enjoy this in the fall while all our squirrels are busy gathering their winter food supply.
