I have bought this Now Jasmine essential oil for several years and always has been consistently quality and smells for long time.

This smells so good! I love and trust NOW products. I use it on wood dryer balls and it makes my laundry smell so good.

I have tried few other brands but nothing comes close to this one. I had lavender from Now,but I guess I'm not fond of lavender smell. Jasmine smells like real Jasmine. After I put one drop on my wrist I went to swim in the pool for half an hour, after that I spent 15 minutes in hot tub, both of them loaded with chlorine. I went to shower,came home and cooked for the New Year's Eve, washing my hands frequently. By the time I went to bed the smell was still there, not strong very light but still there. I will definitely order more orher smells from Now.

Nice fragrance oil with a pleasant jasmine-ish scent. Blends well into DIY skin care products, including slightly stinky mink oil. In the mink oil, it completely masked the 'mink' scent very well, which surprised me, I would have thought I needed a much stronger masking scent like patchouli or sandalwood. There was no separation between the mink oil and the fragrance oil. Mink oil is one of the best oils for skin, it absorbs extremely well and has long chain fatty acids and palmitoleic acid, making it similar to human sebum. The super purified mink oil has no scent, but is expensive. The next level down has all the same benefits, but a slightly gamy "sackful of ferrets" smell. By adding some fragrance or essential oil to the less expensive mink oil, you can totally mask the smell, and get a great skin oil for a bargain price. I like the Think Mink brand, which can be found on E* bay. Fast shipping and high quality oil. I am giving this only 4 stars because it was nowhere near as jasminey as I had hoped. I was looking for a very dirty jasmine, and some of the reviews led me to believe this might be it... but alas, it was not (at least for me). I love a dirty jasmine... filthy actually, with lots of indoles. This is not it. However, this is a nice clean jasmine scent, and several people have commented on how lovely it is when I have had it on.

Working on a blending and wanted to add a hint of jasmine, but didn't want to "commit" until I had a better feel for the end result. This is a jasmine synthetic fragrance - it says this clearly on the bottle. It is a lovely synthetic, and is working beautifully in my blend. This was a perfect way to test without investing too much cash in a blend that might sour. So, if you want a hint of jasmine that you can feel free to play with, this is it! It came in the usual heavy dark brown glass that NOW uses to protect its oils, and is a good NOW product, so, very happy with my purchase. Just be sure that you realize it is synthetic, and will not have the more subtle nuances that natural oils distilled from plants can produce. Good product, well executed packaging and delivery.

I feel stupid for buying this because I only read the label on the front of the bottle, and didn't read completely about it in the description ( why would I need too, it had a high rating?) If I had, I would have known it was blended with other fragrances. Come to find out they are SYNTHETIC! Lovely. For all the "completely natural' products that I made with it. It smelled so beautiful. Their labeling is so fraudulent. It actually says "essential oil" under the brand name on the top of the label. It is definitely not an essential oil. Blended is one thing, synthetic is not even in the ball park. I would have no reason when entering a search for jasmine oil, and that one pops up first, for thinking that it was a con. I am so mad. Down in the description is not where that disclaimer should be. It should say "synthetic fragrance" in place of "essential oil" at the top of the label. Just because something has a smidgeon of jasmine oil in it doesn't make it jasmine oil. Amazon must not be aware of this because they would never support this type of false advertising. The sad part is that the scent is incredible. I still could have used it and bought it again and again for other not quite as "natural" products. But now I don't feel comfortable buying any of their oils. I'm getting older and fine print is getting harder and harder to see, especially when a company is going out of their way to be deceptive. Do I have to call everyone I can and tell them? I think I do. I do have to, because what if someone has allergies? I don't have all the ingredients listed. I may feel stupid but I feel they are cheaters and frauds. So who's worse off. It should be them. UPDATE: I also tried Woolzies and it is the same deal. Bottle says essential oil, the box says other fragrances. Majestic pure has it also. But it is 31.00 because it is 4 oz, u couldn't find one smaller. But it states in the description that it is 100% pure essential oil. So I'm trying that next.

I have a few oils from Now Solutions and have always been happy with them. I was extremely happy to find this Jasmine is sold on Amazon too. The product is genuine "Now Solutions". It has a really strong scent, which is what I want from an oil. A little goes a long way. It is a fragrance oil, NOT an essential oil. I've done some research on this - and this is a synthetic oil. Its not extracted from real Jasmine. This maybe key info to some. I don't mind, I really enjoy the smell since I love Jasmine and that's what I wanted. Pure Jasmine Essential Oil can be very expensive so this is a nice alternative. I drop mine onto scented pads to have the smell around. I don't put it in the diffuser or rub on my skin as it's synthetic and I'm not sure if thats healthy.e
