Purchased this because the price was so good I wanted a Kindle version alongside my hardbacks. Tyndale is most known for his new testament and martyrdom, but he was also a faithful expositor of the word, his desire being that we might all know the blessedness of God in Christ, it was too this end he endeavoured to clear away the accumulated nonsense that had riven the gospel of its power as the power of salvation which salvation is precisely the reconciling of man to God, and as Calvin observed necessitates the knowledge of oneself and of God, a serious reading of Tyndale will tend to the former because it is certain he was blessed to know the latter.
