Good Value for money

This product I found to be not fit for purpose. I bought it specifically to remove two small stripped screws. The drill part of the tool was unable to penetrate the metal of the screw overheating and ground down making it useless. I went onto another drill and it did the same thing. Ineffective and a total waste of money.

If you take your time they will drill through the stripped screw as intended, however they are brittle (which is understandable with their hardness) so you have to be careful. Helped me remove a counter-threaded stripped screw on my car though so overall good stuff.

Great little set ideal for stocking fillers

These bits are decent for small jobs around the house, especially if you occasionally run into a stripped screw that needs removing. They worked fine for the first screw I tried. However, when I moved on to a second, more stubborn one, the bit got damaged and became unusable. I wouldn’t rely on them for more demanding tasks like automotive or mechanical work, but for light-duty use, they’re okay.

Perfect for a DIY’er, not sure what an engineer would make of them. Sometimes you come across a screw that is rounded off or corroded and will not unscrew. This is the easiest solution and an item you may only use rarely. When you need it, nothing else works so well. Just remember that in lieu of any detailed instructions that the drill needs to be run in REVERSE. It’s a two-stage process with the same extractor. Plenty of easy to follow instructions on Utube.

Had two screws which had been totally destroyed using the wrong screwdriver head and obviously a power screwdriver . I thought at this price it would be worth the challenge . Well 10 mins work and both were out and new screws put in ( the hasp had to be moved ) Quality seems good and no damage to the heads despite me actually doin the wrong . I had my screwdriver on forwards when it should have been in reverse but ( and don’t ask me ) it worked but next time will reverse the driver Neat and three sizes . Worth the small investment

Thought the set was completely useless when I first used it last year. Just now tried again on another stuck screw and it was only on looking at info for other identical sets that it became clear that both for drilling out the pilot hole and for using the extractor screw, your drill needs to be set to rotate anti-clockwise (reverse)!! No word about that, or a marked diagram, on the the printed cover or inlay card. How could a new user possibly know? In fact when I used the drill end the right way, it brought out the stuck screw without even needing extractor end. Useless device finally became useful!

Didn't know I needed it til I needed it!

Wie oft hat man Billigschrauben aus Fernost erworben und sich geärgert, dass meim eindrehen die Aufnahmen versagen. Die Schraube war noch nicht mal drin und der Bit rutsch nur noch über. Zange, Stechbeitel und andere Hilfsmittel waren nun nötig, um die Schraube wieder zu entfernen. So ist dieser Artikel nicht nur eine tolle Hilfe, sondern die Qualität kann man hier hervorheben. Ist etwas teurer als woanders, aber wir haben inzwischen gelernt, dass zu billig auch billig produziert wurde.

Hatte Hoffnung, eine abgedrehte Schraube zu entfernen. Funktionierte leider nicht. Soll ja erstattet werden wenn es nicht funktioniert. Bin mal gespannt.

Drill side made the hole somewhat smoother, but the extractor size had zero effect and simply spun in hole. Upon examination, the extractor side of the bit was worn smooth immediately.
