Teaching Silent Wall Clock

This clock has been a fantastic tool for helping our third grader learn how to tell time. It’s colorful, engaging, and has all the key information clearly displayed right on the face, which makes it easy for kids to understand both the hour and minute hands. We decided not to put batteries in so our daughter could use the little spin dial on the back to manually move the hands—this has been a great way to quiz her and practice throughout the day. She loves it, and we’ve seen a big improvement in her confidence with telling time. Highly recommend for any parent teaching their child this important skill!

Update: After 3 years, this is still a great clock. Still keeps time and still runs quiet. I would recommend this clock and am very happy with the purchase. Original review: I ordered this to teach my 3 year old time. The different colored hands help to easily identify which one you are talking about and the labeled minutes addressed the issue that had me go seek out a new clock when my 3 year old asked why it was 15 minutes when the hand was pointing to the 3. The clock runs without making any noise, not even a light tick, and has kept really good time over the month that we have had it. We set it to match our radio controlled clock and it has not lost or gained time. The only quibble I would have with this clock is that the time is not set by radio control. Overall, I'm very happy with the purchase. It's a great for teaching using real time examples (we have to leave at x time which is when the red hand points to y and the blue hand points to z).

Love the clock. It’s easy to read and my daughter was able to learn to read time with it. It is accurate and the colors and numbering are intuitive and elegant. I also love that it is a silent clock. It’s an outstanding option if you want both a silent clock and an educational clock. The company was also very responsive and quick to fix any issues. After some time the clock developed a rapid ticking sound. Sounded like some of the clock gears might have been binding or hitting each other repetitively. Wise Hedgehog was super quick to replace it and with great communication. Defects and issues happen to all products and companies. What matters greatly is how the company handles it. I would not hesitate to buy. Highly recommended.

Bright and colorful, easy to read. I hung it eye level for my grand in the play kitchen. It's a perfect introduction to telling time.

Good way to teach children to learn analog clock

Did you know that most kids now days can't tell time from a traditional round face clock??? They are accustomed to telling time from a digital readout. So, I bought these pretty clocks for our grandchildren to learn to use "our" clocks. Its never too early to introduce them to traditional clocks and punctuality. And the kids loved them, too. They're cute and the perfect size for their bedrooms. The clocks are quality made but won't weigh down the fasteners that hold them to the wall and stretch the nail holes in the sheet rock. They are great value for the money.
