Awesomeness
I just love this - and I’m a total fuss bucket that is usually disappointed. Not this time - I’m in love with Black Phillip. Regardless of other reviews - well made, and packed for a drop kick.

Badass.
Very good crafted quality. Pretty heavy so just know you need a good heavy nail and stud on the wall to hang it. It looks amazing and brings some sort of atmosphere to my home.

Fragile as glass.
Horn broke off when assembling & base hanging hole is WAY off center, thus I will have to JB weld the horns on after some Dremel tool work so that they can actually set flush as shown in the pictures. Base material is just as fragile as the horns, so hanging this from a screw seems like a BAD idea. Will likely JB weld it to a trophy deer head base & hang that on my wall. Otherwise it looks great.

Dark and Delicious
I can’t recommend this item enough. It was packed/delivered very snugly and safely. The quality is amazing!! Even-coloured resin and the mold is extremely detailed. The hairs, the muscles/anatomy is spot on. My only critique would be the paint on the eyes. They could be a better paint, and painted fully, but I am not disappointed AT all. I will go back and re-paint the eyes (and likely add a gloss to make them look super realistic). TIP: lift the styrofoam packing with the seam horizontally, so the pieces do not fall out. I made that mistake and a horn (needs assembly) fell out and broke. It was seamlessly repaired with some super glue. :) GET THIS RIGHT NOW! lol

Solid and well made.
Costly? Yes however this is not the typical cheap decoration. The head and horns feel solid and it isn't light. I have not used the keyhole on the rear to hang it opting to rest it between branches as it will be displayed outdoors.I did have to return the first one because the keyhole was installed angled and glued. This replacement was shipped quickly.The horns sit loosely in the head. They rest in cutouts and will fall if the head is tilted.I will be looking for durability of finish.So far recommended.Update: Made for an excellent addition to our Halloween decorating. Levels above the cheap(er) common store items.

I ordered this as a gift for my boyfriend and he loves it. If you're contemplating buying it, I highly recommend it! 10/10
