Works with valve index
Using this with a cable matters 5m cable. Placed this repeater at the end of the extension cable plugging in to the index Trident cable. The only issue I have is that you must power up this repeat it after powering on the PC or it will not be seen. I have this on smart sockets with the power supplies for the index so that’s not an issue Also you must change the power management of the display adapter so that it does not time out. Works at 144 Hz. Good value for money.

Works well with one major issue
I purchased 3 of these for my 3 monitors on my gaming PC.I was moving my PC to the otherside of the room and after it was all setup nothing worked. Unplugging and replugging things and eventually got one of them working after which I noticed that while everything is plugged in and powered on, you have to power the repeater off and on (just by unplugging and re-plugging the power). This isn't a huge issue for me as I have a remote to control a few plugs, however I do have to turn the power supply off and on for these repeaters whenever I reboot. Again, this is better than having the computer where it was before so it's something I can live with, but not ideal. As for the result, everything works, no perceivable delay (did a reaction test with and without these and got similar/identical results), G-sync works and running at full 2560x1440 @ 165hz on all 3 screens.Pros: no perceivable dip in performance, in terms of resolution, refresh rate, latency or features. Power cable included.Cons: has to be turned off and on after each reboot once you reach the login screen.

Works as expected
Purchased this repeater because I have a Samsung G9 monitor and a kvm switch in between the monitor and pcIt turns out that even a high quality kvm doesn’t have the ability to send the G9 resolution at any hz above 60hz even though the total cable length is below 9ft vesa certified cablesNeeded a repeater to boost the signal to get maximum resolution and maximum hz of the G9

Solved my incompatibility issue with my HP Reverb G2 v2 and Nvidia RTX 3090ti
There is an issue with the new RTX 3090ti GPU's display port output when paired with some VR headsets. The problem is the weak output from the display port end of the GPU which causes the VR headset not to function. After installing this DP repeater with a DP cable I can confirm everything is now working well as it should. So anyone facing the same issue, I highly recommend you try this solution.

Works great with Valve Index
This little gadget is the only way I could get a picture in my Valve Index 10 meters away from the PC it's connected to (source port is an MSI 3080 Ti Suprim X). It works even at max refresh rate (144 Hz) without any artefacts nor sound issues of any kind - it feels just like using a normal cable. I'm using it with a standard, cheap passive 10m DP cable from KabelDirekt. The combination costs ~£30 in total which seems quite reasonable given the length. This is a very different experience from the 10m DP active cable from the same brand which does NOT work (no signal).

Works to boost up weak displayport signal from laptop
I was skeptical that this product would work but i'm happy to report that it does!I have the following setupDell laptop > USB-c to displayport/USB/LAN dongle > 0.5m DP cable > Displayport/USB switchbox > 2m DP cable > MonitorI was having issues where the display would flicker and have artefactsThis DP repeater solved the issue completely for me, so my setup is now:Dell laptop > USB-c to displayport/USB/LAN dongle > 0.5m DP cable > Displayport/USB switchbox > 0.5m DP cable > cablematters repeater > 2m DP cable > Monitor

Works for Oculus Rift S.
I'm happy to report that this repeater works flawlessly for me with a Rift S when used in conjunction with a 3m Cable Matters 8K Displayport cable. YMMV, but I also got away with using a 3m Cable Matters passive USB 3.0 extension cable. You may or may not need either an active USB 3.0 cable or a powered USB 3.0 hub instead. The Rift S is notoriously picky when it comes to cable extension, and this repeater seems to be as close as you can get to an almost guaranteed solution without the risk of wasting silly money if it doesn't work.I'd highly recommend giving this a try.

Works very well for Oculus Rift S
I originally tried a 3m 8k Club 3D extension cable to use with the rift, however this would not work. so i bought this and because i only had a 3 m extension and this requires a cable with a Male plug which i didnt have i used a 2m 8k DP cable so i have a 5m cable in total and with this it works very well with the Rift S, there was another review that stated it did not, however it must be because of the quality of cable that was being used, you need a 8k DP 1.4 cable and this works well.
