IT IS A GREAT PRODUCT... EASY TO USE..

Not complicated and very easy to use. Because it is portable and compact it can be taken almost anywhere that has an electrical outlet. So far after copying over a hundred disc I have had excellent results with no problem. I tried to read reviews before purchasing but there was none so I took a chance and bought it. So far so good. Would recommend.

I purchased this product as a coach to make copies of homemade dvds for my players. It seemed a little overpriced for a couple of disk drives, but I thought I would give it a try for the convenience of not having to boot up a pc to make dvd copies. It doesn't really do much else that you couldn't accomplish with a couple of external hard drives for your laptop.It worked for a while, but one day it just got stuck on the bootup screen and then started emitting a smell of burning plastic. Investigating, there was a hole melted on the top drive tray. Something internally must have heated to the point of melting the plastic in the upper drive. Thankfully, I didn't have a master dvd in the drive at the time, or I might have lost it.Per the front page of the EZ Dupe website: "EZ Dupe offers more than just high quality, user-friendly products; our objective is to establish and build long-term relationships. We proudly support our duplication systems with three or four year parts and labor warranties.* * Warranty may vary at certain retail locations. Please verify with local and online retail stores."So, no problem, right? I contacted EZ Dupe customer service to get a fix or replacement. "The 3 and 4 year warranty does not apply to your duplicator, the DVD coach only has a 1 yr warranty."They will, however fix it for me if I pay them up to another $190 (they couldn't tell me exactly how much) plus shipping both ways! Absolutely absurd!I guess EZ Dupe's idea of "establishing and building long-term relationships" means you keep paying them over time for their faulty product.Very disappointing experience. Will not buy any product from them again. Consider yourself warned.
