When it was time to change my smoke detector batteries, I replaced them with these. They have lasted at least 50% longer than the regular Duracell AA's. I want the batteries in the smoke detector to be the most reliable. I trust the Duracell brand.

These are good quality, longer lasting batteries but they run expensive. They also pollute the environment so only use when rechargeable batteries will not do.
