Integrates well with new system
I don't game and do not know what lock you are talking about. Fast processor with great graphics. Works great in the new Asus motherboard and 2600 memory.

Budget Processor for Internet Use
Bought this to go with a basic office computer build for the grandparents. Has plenty of power for internet, documents, and youtube videos. I used the stock cooler for this and it seems to be running it cool. it is a little older than 2020 but it runs very well and combined with an SSD it just flies through simple tasks.

Good pfSense CPU
Decent CPU for a pfSense build. Temp wise, in my SuperMicro 1U chassis and low profile cooler it jumps around 41-49 Celsius at room temperature.

Performance on a budget!
If you want a buttery smooth desktop processor this is the CPU to get, with only 2 cores you'd think you'd run into issues, however I'm still to find a task that the 3.7GHz can't cut through with ease. Definitely a top buy.

Good enough
From what I have seen so far it's almost the same as my old cpu but just a bit faster than before but still lacking power and speed but good enough until I find something better

Slow and clunky, even for a budget processor
I'm not really impressed with this processor at all. I went with it to save a few bucks. I should have spent a few more dollars and gone with an i3. When factoring in the huge boost in performance an i3 would offer over this Pentium, i3 is the clear winner and hits that price to performance sweetspot. I do not recommend you purchase this processor unless it is for a strictly web surfing build.

I have got it for Rs 5000 and so, it is value for money (because prices of ryzen apus are too high at the moment) Full detailed review in points of gamers and office work. --> Is it made for gaming???? if you are gamer not having much budget so, go for it and in future you can get i3 and i5 (9th gen) on same motherboard (H310 if you have B365 so, you can add i7 also) . And install gpu for gaming UHD graphics are not enough. Other wise go for Athlon if you want to game on integrated graphics because it can can most games on 720p 30fps on most games or more. --> Besides gaming what you can do on this processor It is decent processor and you can run it for office purposes like running MS Office, Basic coading like on C, C++, python, etc., YT videos. I have bought it for office purpose... ***Final Conclusion*** +++For gamers+++ If you are gamer you are on least budget and game on dedicated graphics so, you can and if you are not having gpu so, not for you go with Athlon 200ge or 3000g (but in unavailable here) so, no options so, go with Ryzen Apu 2200g or 3200g. +++ For office use and basic coding+++ You can build a pc for office purpose and basic coding as described earlier

The processor was carefully installed on a new Gigbyte Motherboard to upgrade my system. It is simply not working. I am not sure if it is the motherboard or the processor.
