I really really wanted to love this... But I really don't
I bought this stroller in February of 2014, so I have now had it for 10 months. When purchased, I had a newborn, 2 year old, and 3 year old; all boys. Since my first two boys are only 14 months apart, I have tried many MANY double strollers in the past 3 years. BOBs are definitely made of great quality, but they are just not made for tall children! At 2 years old my oldest son was too tall for the seat in our BOB double and would get upset because his head was up against the sunshade. The handlebar of the BOB was also just way too low for me and incredibly uncomfortable to use, not to mention it weighed a ton, was incredibly bulky, and wouldn't fit through many doorways. My all time favorite double stroller EVER is the Baby Jogger City Mini Double. Seriously. It is AMAZING. It fits my tall children very comfortably, it folds up so easily and compactly, is incredibly lightweight, has to-die-for sunshades that are amazing to use and the seats can easily recline all the way. We have used our to death for years and there is nothing wrong with it at all. My only reasons for getting something different was so that I could have "jogging" tires and could switch from one child to two and not have to keep both a double and a single in my trunk.I lusted after this stroller for months. I read reviews and watched YouTube videos and basically had the website memorized. I wanted so badly to love it.PROS:-It can easily switch from being a single stroller to a double!-Only takes up the width of a single stroller, so easily maneuvers through doorways and while shopping-Has a ton of different seat configurations to suit your needs!-Auto-stop brake (admittedly I initially thought it was really stupid but once I recieved it I realized the practical applications of it)-This version has a reclining backseat and the backseat is supposedly bigger than previous versions (selling point to me since I have tall kids)-I was surprised by how small it folds up. It is still kind of bulky, but I was expecting it to take up more room. It folds smaller than some single joggersCONS:I honestly don't even know where to begin. There are times I am thankful for this stroller, but usually I kind of hate it.-Quality. I thought this stroller would be of really great quality materials, especially because of the price. I was wrong. I was shocked at the cheap construction of the belly bar. Although I had to pay an arm and a leg for a baby jogger belly bar, it was SO well constructed, and the cover part was actually a zippered thick material that I could remove and wash! It was also adjustable. This belly bar has really cheap foam around the metal, and then a super thin spandex type material around the foam. My two year old bit the bar a week after purchase and a huge chunk of foam came off. My kids have gnawed on the baby jogger bar tons of times and this never happened. In addition, within a month there were two holes in the belly bar covering.-I wanted the midnight color but purchased red instead because it was on sale. Within a couple months the red material faded kinda badly, especially on the sunshade. Also, the red shoes EVERY little stain EVER!! My baby jogger is also red, and the material is pretty wipeable. If my kids spilled, it wiped up easily, or I could throw the whole thing in the washer. When I try to wipe up spills on my p&t, it just... Smears.- even though both my 2 & 3 year old were under the weight limit for the back seat, they almost didn't fit the buckle, could only comfortable sit if the front seat was entirely upright, and the backseat was reclined. Our backseat is permanently reclined because if I sit it up my kids basically have their faces against the front seat. As it is their knees are up against the front seat and they constantly push their baby brothers seat.-With the bottom seat reclined, I constantly bang my shins on it. However, if I don't recline it, my kids really don't fit well.-The website says it is "safety tested" so that a kid can be in the bottom and you won't have to worry about it flipping backwards if you don't have a kid in the front. Take my advice, AND DONT BELIEVE it. If your child is even kind of wiggly, don't leave them in the bottom seat while you put the kid in the front seat in the car. It really doesn't take much for it to flip backwards and for them to crack their head on the pavement. We have stitches to prove it.- The backseat doesn't have a sunshade. Sure, it came with a Velcro/ elastic tie shade thing, but guess what?? It doesn't fit if the backseat is frikkin reclined!- The tires pop easily. After two months, I had a tire pop at an H&M in a mall. I'm not sure what I ran over, but apparently something punctured it! I tried to replace it with a standard size tube like it said I could do in the manual, but it didn't fit!! Not to mention it was a HUGE pain to change. My tires go flat all the time too and I now have to leave a pump in my car which is annoying. My past joggers only needed airing up every few months.-The reclining mechanism iin the main seat is a JOKE. Seriously. I have never seen such a complicated recline in my life!!! Zippers, buckles, and tightener things. You have to use both hands, and honestly I can never get the buckles to snap unless there is NOT a child in the seat. It physically impossible for me to buckle it. Also, in order for my sons Graco car seat to fit on the adaptor I bought seperate so I could use it as a travel system, I had to slightly recline the seat or it wouldn't fit. But there is no "slight recline" so I had to leave a buckle undone on the recline to get the car seat to snap in to the adaptor. If I reclined the seat further than that my other son didn't fit in the bottom seat.-My kids can NOT scramble in and out of the bottom seat themselves. They need my help everytime or the stroller tips backwards, or the "cushy" seat pad gets bunched up. It even gets super bunched up when I put them in the back!-Not a huge deal, but REALLy wish the seat harness had a cheat clip like a car seat. Even my now ten month old can wiggle the shoulder straps off.-I didn't think it would be a big deal to have to remove the backseat to fold. Believe me, it gets old really fast. The fold is also incredible awkward. My handle bar grip is super banged up from constantly hitting the ground while I awkwardly try to fold it without hurting myself or getting filthy or dinging up the stroller. Maybe I was just spoiled by the baby jogger easy easy fold though-the red rubbery grip on my auto stop now has a couple small holes in it and is SUPER gummy feeling, while my handlebar grip has numerous wounds and battle scars.-also... I have no idea what the company means when they say this stroller has "kerb pop". Seriously, it isn't any easier to get up and down curbs than any other stroller. It's easy to get the front wheel up, and really hard to get the back up.Overall, it is a decent stroller. If I had to do it over, I would have probably gone with a different stroller, I got the double kit free and I still don't feel it was worth it. With that being said, I don't think there is a better "all in one" stroller alternative out there. It's annoying to use and could be of better quality, but gets the job done in the end.I have ran a couple 5ks in it with two children, I have used it many many times while shopping and running errands, and while picking kids up after preschool, and going to the playground. We live in Italy currently and have taken it on trains and even to Venice. It has a decent turn radius, but I've seen better. It has a smoother "ride" than many other strollers, but not the best. It's fairly narrow but those dang back wheels still stuck out and get caught on things. No child tray or cupholders for either seat, and no parent console to hold a drink, phone, or keys; the auto stop feature also makes it harder to install an after market one, although it's still doable. I'm not selling it anytime soon, but if I find a better alternative, I'd go for it.

Not sure how I feel about everything yet....
Like many other parents out there, I did tons of research on a double stroller before finally picking this one. My must-have list was basically, compact, tandem, capability of being used as a single and double, good storage basket, stylish, and not too heavy. So when I finally decided that this stroller was the right one, I couldn't be more excited to receive it! When I received it, I was shocked at how small the box was and that made me even more excited about how compact the stroller was. Well, my excitement quickly vanished as I opened the box and took out the stroller. Everything was neatly stacked inside but none of the parts had any type of foam or plastic covering. The stroller frame was very scratched up, the seats were covered in lint and cardboard shavings, the handle bar had a small but noticeable tear, and the wheel wells were pretty banged up too. I immediately thought that Amazon sent me a used stroller when I ordered a NEW one but after inspecting the tires, they looked brand new and the info tags were still attached..... I contacted P&T and asked about how they package their strollers and was told that the stroller parts are bagged before being placed in the box. If that's the case then Im guessing I received an open box item, or a lemon. Even though the damages were more cosmetic than function, for the price I paid, I was not happy about receiving a damaged stroller so I contacted Amazon for a replacement and they did not hesitate to issue me a replacement. Only, they are currently out of stock so I'll be waiting for a month to receive the new one!! If I didn't already spend so much time researching this stroller and setting my heart on it, I could have just returned it and moved on to something else but I actually really liked it during the two days I had before sending it back. The look and feel of the stroller (minus the damages) were better than I expected and I feel like the quality of the material is great - the damages must have occurred from poor shipping and handling or who knows. My 21mo toddler was very happy in both the front and back seat. My 3mo infant seemed to be comfortable in the second seat even with it not being reclined all the way down. The fold/unfold is not as bad as what some reviewers make it out to be. Just practice a few times and you'll get it. Overall, this stroller seems to be a good fit for my needs so I am just very disappointed that I can't have it yet and it's going to be a few more weeks of waiting.I'm really crossing my fingers that the replacement will not have any problems! I will write an update once I receive it and use it for a period of time.

Wish the rear seat had more depth and the basket was bigger but everything else I love.
I just got the stroller yesterday night and used it today. I bought this stroller to replace my old Phil and Ted Sport (which I got used and the folding tabs are broken). I am a bit disappointed that the basket is much smaller and the rear seat is more shallow, 8 inch depth on the Navigator compared to the 10 inches on my old sport, 2 inches doesnt sound like a lot but it does make a big difference when I notice how my 2 year old toddler sits. I felt like I moved from a full size car (sport) to a midsize (navigator) for the seat and basket. The rear seat does recline so much better on the Navigator though!I love the automatic brake (reason for purchase) and the sunhood is awesome. My toddler rode in front with the 2nd seat attached and my newborn rode in the carry cot in the main seat and fell asleep while dropping my oldest off to school, love just carrying him out and not lifting a carseat. It look like the carry cot should last me up when he is 3-4 months. I do have the carseat adapter which I have been using on my sport which has been great as well.A newborn can sit in the second seat reclined. I tried out the JJ Cole Urban Bundleme (which helps the straps get in the for newborn height), the JJ Cole Collections Body Support (without the head part attached since it make his head lean a little forward), JJ Cole Collections Strap Cover (so his head didnt bobble around) combined and he looked comfy. I have used this combo on my Sport as well.I do recommend getting the carseat adaptor if you do have a baby with this purchase especially if you are jogging. If you have some extra money to splurge AND your baby (0-4m) will be traveling in this stroller during the cold season I recommend getting the carrycot as well. The carry cot kept my baby nice and warm.
