Pharmacotherapeutics for Advanced Practice Nurse Prescribers

For a textbook, I'm surprised at how well thought out it is. The chapters are shorter so as not to be overwhelming but still have all the essential information and I do appreciate how the information is laid out. This has made my advanced pharm class much easier.

First, I love that when I highlight, it doesn’t bleed through the pages. It is also durable. Next, this has a lot, but good content. There are separate chapters that focus on the specific diseases, and there are chapters that focus on the drugs of those diseases. It includes good overview of the pathophysiology so that it can help readers make connections to the pharmacodynamics and pharmacokinetics of the drugs.

I like that it has a an online version and free practice test

Very in depth. Some of the charts are difficult to read/ understand, like a lot of the dosage information.
