It's the real thing (ombre brush) for $5.99!!! I'm so happy with my purchase! A pearlescent white coated cap with glass "diamonds" inside the handle. The best part is that the brush style is correct and the best I've seen so far.

Works like a charm. Delivered as expected.Takes a little practice to get the blend of the ombre, but once you do, its so much easier.
