My fig tree was very late to be planted.One thing and another stopped me doing it.I thought buying a complete kit from Amazon was lazy and I should find the bits.Well that was foolish ~ the kit was terrific value and straightforward to use.You will need some tools ~ a good drill and drill bits to get deep holes in the old bricks.Wire cutters and good pliers for crimping the fittings onto the wire.I took my time and worked out my plan.First the holes for the wall fittings, then the fittings, then the wire.This may be a job you get someone else to do or you may be a DIY person/With this kit, you don't need to flap about buying extra bits, what you need is in the box.Fig tree tamed, but now I have to train it and prune it to look good and produce masses of wonderful figs.

You need a very sharp cutting tool to cut the wire or it fraud and very hard to push back through the small bracket other wise it would of been 5 stars. Got it up in the end and works great

As other people say, then instructions are non existent with the product itself, but it is relatively easy to work it out from the pictures shownFor masonry, you need a 7mm masonry drill bit. Couldn't find that written anywhere, and I was annoyed because I specially bought a 6mm drill bit and it wasn't big enough.The most fiddly bit for me was getting the "wire rope thimbles" on the "eye bolts".Other than that, pretty easy and I am useless at most DIY tasks! It all seems good quality for the money.

No instructions supplied, but easy enough to figure out and you definitely need a crimping tool, pliers aren’t strong enough (at least not in my hands) but the wire hanging kit did the job perfectly well.

I thought from the various other reviews that this was going to be tricky to install - but it was very straightforward once I had looked at the pictures on Amazon and thought it through. I am a very basic DIYer but had it all in place securely on our outside wall in about 90 minutes.

Sturdy wire with eye bolts, tensioners and crimps. No instructions with the items, so had to work out how to do. Will need tools to put up. A drill, a long screwdriver to wind the eye bolts in. A pair of wire cutters and a pair of pliers to tighten the wire secure crimps. Will support a heavy climbing plants or train plants or small fruit trees.
