All in all: simple, reliable, and works exactly as it should.
I’m really happy with the Nintendo Nunchuk Controller in White — it’s a small but essential add‑on for anyone who wants to get the most out of their Wii or Wii U gaming experience. The analog stick and “C/Z” buttons feel responsive and natural, and the ergonomic shape makes it comfortable to hold even during long gaming sessions.

This is a genuine product
After reading some of the reviews here claiming that this is not a genuine product, I did order it anyway and I am glad I did. This contoller had the same exact feeling as my original nunchucks that worked fine for years, and this nunchuck had been working great till now. I just want to point out that I had problems with my games before in which characters would move by themselves, and that's why I ordered this nunchuck believing that the problem was with my original nunchucks. Well, I was wrong. The problem was still there even with this new nunchuck I ordered, which led me to believe that the problem is with the remote itself. To be clear, the remote worked fine by itself but had issues when the nunchuck is connected to it. I ordered a new genuine remote and all my problems were gone. so for those who ordered this nunchuck and still have problems with characters moving by themselves, you should try getting a new remote. It seems that the remote can be causing this issue even if it works fine without having the nunchuck connected to it.

Works great, reasonable price
My wife and I bought a WII several years ago (before we had kids), played it a few times and then it became a nice dust collector for a long spell. Fast forward 6 years and we now have three boys, ages 6, 3 and 1. We recently dusted off the WII and started playing a few games. My oldest son loves the bowling and boxing games. We only had one Nunchuck and we wanted to be able to box each other, so it was time to buy another nunchuck. I was surprised how expensive they are, but I'm guessing its because the new WII U can use the same nunchuck (which makes them still relevant). This nunchuck worked great and allowed my son and I to go at it in the WII boxing games. Its amazing how easily he can beat me; it seems we are just randomly throwing our arms around, but he must have some sort of technique because I haven't beaten him in weeks. The price of this particular nunchuck was reasonable. Some other reviews indicate it may be a knockoff. I don't know if it is or not - it says Nintendo on the box and looks legit, but I know these things can be replicated pretty easily. That said, the price was good and it works just fine so I would recommend this product if you need an additional Nintendo Nunchuk Controller.

It's the official controller if you buy directly from Amazon
I bought this directly from Amazon, and received a sealed new official Nintendo nunchuck. To summarize, I love the product. A couple months ago I got Mario Galaxy 2 for my Wii U which requires a nunchuck. I didn't know how much I would want to play it so at first I went with a couple of the cheap knockoff nunchucks, which can be found in multi-packs for a fraction of the price of the official product. I could play the game with the generics, however the analog sticks were really terrible, almost impossible to do anything less then "full run", or "stop", and becoming loose over time. Now, I absolutely love Mario Galaxy 2 decided to be a completionist with it, getting every last star. Getting sick of the sloppy control from the generic nunchuck, I bout the Nintendo official product. Although they look very similar it is like night and day, tight control with the superb analog stick, and instantly improved my game. To summarize, a generic nunchuck might be ok to explore some otherwise unplayable games with your Wii U (example, some of the levels in Nintendo Land), but the official Nintendo nunchuck is a major improvement and well worth the extra cost if you are planning to put any serious time into a nunchuck-requiring game.

Controllers are used and possibly fake
I was quite disappointed when this arrived, I bought 2 of them for Wii remotes to play a few games. Despite what the listing looks like, it did not come in the box, it was used with noticeable wear marks, and smudges. I don't know if this is fake I'm not experienced enough but I have an official black Nunchuck that doesn't work and compared too it, the 2 I got is significantly too shiny on the front even compared to new controllers and the joystick is really loud and higher pitched. With all that being said, it still works and works well as it should, I just wish it was made known that the controller is used.

Only buy from Nintendo.
I bought Super Mario Galaxy for our Wii U and needed the nunchuck controller. We had tried getting one off eBay but as usual, used is terrible. The nunchuck couldn't hold itself steady and was detected all over the place even when the remote was stationary. I wasn't sure if the one sold here was by Nintendo or a fake Nintendo account but we got lucky and got a solid remote. It works exactly as it should with the games that we have. Haven't had any problems thus far but will update as we continue to use it. We also bought the attached remote, which also works great. Both made by Nintendo. I'd only suggest buying new and from Nintendo themselves. All the off brands always suck and never do a good enough job. In addition they always tend to wear out fast. It's just a normal remote, and works with WiiU. I'm not sure if it works with the regular Wii but i'd imagine it would. If you don't need to use the Nunchuck, I'd advise just using the Wii U pad. It's far better with the touch screen but when you play games with the nunchuck it's great. Also it's a good alternative to letting the kids use the Pad. If you don't want them messing it up and griming it up, they can use the remote and nunchuck to get things accomplished. I'm always hesitant letting kids use the pad, as it's pretty important with the new WiiU games.

Bad luck with Wii Nunchuks
Okay, so I had bad luck with a couple of generic Nunchuk's. Fine, you get what you pay for. So I started buying Nintendo brand Nunchuk's. The first Nintendo brand Nunchuk that came with the Wii Consul works. A black Nintendo Brand Nunchuk had the cord pulled out of it's socket playing an exercise game a couple weeks after we bought. (The cord was shorter than our original white nunchuk for some reason.) But I decide to blame that on user error. So I bought another White Nintendo brand Nunchuk. The analogue joystick never worked for this one. I guess I'm ruling out Nunchuk's marked Wii U even if they claim to be compatible with the old Wii. Maybe I missed something about Wii motion (all or our wiimotes have wii motion). In short, I have bought 3 Nintendo brand nunchuks and 2 generics, and only one Nunhcuk has been fully functional for longer than 3 weeks. (The first Nintendo Brand Nunchuk that came with the Wii). You can tell I'm a little frustrated. We have several games that use the Nunchuk, and we wanted to use to use it socially. I wish I had some advice, but I haven't had enough good fortune to offer a solution yet. I'll keep trying, I guess.
