Original Black LCD Display Panel Screen Complete Assembly for Playstation PS Vita PSV PCH-1001 PCH-1101 Game Device

My PS Vita had been out of commission for nearly 2 years (The LCD was busted, wife got mad and punched my Vita.), luckily I had some time (Thanks COVID-19, ☹️.) to fix it.The install is lengthy, compared to a PS3 Fat mobo reflow I performed back in 2010, but it’s worth it!!!!!Word of advice, make sure you have the tools necessary to remove the screws and ribbon cables as you can easily destroy your Vita with one wrong move or tool.The digitizer and LCD (OLED?) screen work great, just as I’d expect a MIB Vita to work. I’m so happy to have my Vita back in action again!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Product was poorly packaged.Upon finishing the repair, I noticed that the top bezel that surrounds the left bumper button was damaged.If I wasn't completely finished with the repair, I would probably feel more inclined to box it up and try to return it. I'll just try to fabricate a small piece of scrap to fill the opening.Nonetheless, I do believe that this is a genuine part.With that in mind, the screen does have the black blotches that can be seen on these OLED displays due to the age and style; the blotches are only visible if the PS Vita is the sole source of lightning in the room. (i.e., playing at night, in bed, with all of the lights off)-1 star for packaging-2 stars for damaged item+2 stars for overall quality of part at this priceDespite my low review, I recommend this part if you need to replace a damaged screen for a PCH1001/PCH1101.***Make sure to keep the damaged part handy so you can swap some pieces onto the new part. ***

Was able to replace my broken PS vita screen however there is some glue or air stuck behind the screen which gives a smudge to the bottom right corner. I'm able to play games fine but there's just a minor defect that won't go away.

Don’t usually leave reviews but I just installed this screen and compared it to an untouched oled vita screen looks exactly the same. I think it’s even better then the original it’s a bit brighter. If your vita is starting to get dim like mine this is an upgrade. Look on YouTube for disassembly videos. Took me about 3 hours to install. It’s not too difficult if you take it very slow.

replaced my Vira screen a few days ago using this as a replacement and its great. No noticable difference between this and the original screen (when it was working). Installation was easier than expected and should take 2-3 hours if you're being careful and have little experience with this type of thing

I am so pleased , Finally I was able to take an evening fixing my original vita , no complaints on the screen . The screws are a bit tough to screw in at times getting a proper screwdriver helps a lot .

All the screws wouldn't fit the same way with this screen. But this is a bright display with no problems (minus my vita not closing anymore).

As expected. Still has tiny black spots just like 3 others had. I need a perfect black screen my peeps.
